How does this Brand compare in taste to Perrier bottled water?

A naturally carbonated water, originating from certain mountain springs, contains anions, such as:
• Cl- chlorides: 25.52 mg/l
• Sulfates SO42-: 13.99 mg/l
• Carbon dioxide CO2: 2500 mg/l
and contains cations, like:
• Sodium Na+: 72.4 mg/l
• Calcium Ca2+: 338.41 mg/l
• Magnesium Mg2+: 108.65 mg/l

A carbonated natural spring water doesn't need to be more carbonated (adding  carbon dioxide) as the description of Pelegrino or Perrier shows. But, there is a problem. The natural spring water is not sterile, contains microorganisms. The subsequent process of adding the CO2 will stop the growth of unwanted organisms.

Why such a high price?  Only cost $10.50 when i purchased last month.

at Safeway in San Francisco a case (12 bottles) costs at Safeway ( if they have it because usually there have only the .75 L bottles)  $27
I purchased a case of 1 L bottles here for 16.65

Hello! We appreciate your interest in how we make our S.Pellegrino® Sparkling Mineral Water. First, our water is sourced from springs that start in the Italian Alps. From there, it goes deep underground and during this process, minerals are added to the water through its contact with the spring. Then, it's heated naturally through a geothermal gradient until it reaches the spring where it gets its balanced composition. Once we collect the water with its perfect combination of dissolved minerals, we add CO2 to give it that light, delicate effervescence that you see in its fine bubbles.
