The Alloyman 20 v tiller is a gem! I have only owned this machine for two weeks, but in that time I have put it through its paces on smooth loam soil, tough rocky hardpan and areas with roots and garden debris. It took on all challenges handily. A couple of times it ran into hidden things like wire or hose. It stopped before the wire wrapped too tightly. When cleared, it started up as before. It comes with two batteries (this alone worth the total price-a steal for what I got.) Battery life is good, lasting longer than my energy! It works best as it is pulled back toward the operator. All in all a terrific purchase.

Love it! Works really well for what I need. I have a vegetable garden on the side of the house, so not a big area, but maybe 15’x 30‘. What I like about this is that there are no gasoline emissions. It comes with two batteries, already charged. With the batteries, the way to test to see if they are charged is to press the little battery icon button on the side. (It’s deceptive… took me a minute because I thought the batteries were not charging). Easy to put together, and easy to use! Also, there is a safety button to press with your thumb to make it work. The size is just perfect for an area like mine. The power is good. Good value for the money. Highly recommend..

This thing is strong...it has to be to get through the georgia clay. Works great and cuts through the dirt like butter, battery life is good too..

I needed something to help me keep the weeds out of my garden. Unfortunately, I let mine get out of hand this summer so it was a bigger job than I had expected. I was still pleasantly surprised at how well this product works. Straight out of the box, it was really easy to assemble and I was able to run straight out to the garden to try it out because the batteries were already charged! It was very quiet and easy to handle. I did have a lot of tall grass, so I did need to clean out the tines after a few minutes, but they are easily removable so it didn’t take long. After a while, I stopped removing the tines and was able to just wind the grass off easily. My only complaint with this product is that the batteries don’t really last as long as they claim. But I think I got a good 20 minutes out of each battery, so I was still able to get a big chunk of it done. Overall, it’s great for keeping up with the weeds as long as you don’t let them get too crazy!

Pretty amazing for the money! I did not expect much due to concept and cost. I was surprised. This thing does a ton of work in our garden beds. Powers through tough dirt and runs a long time. I still have a bigger gas tiller for large stuff but once established this is a great tool in small areas and around plants. Plus I have not had to pull start it once!!!

Lightweight, easy to operate, efficient. My son and I were able to fill up our two garden beds with ease.

We have a fairly large vegetable garden (appro. 2,000sqft). I have a regular gas powered rear-tine tiller for the large jobs but wanted something to aid in weeding between rows, creating furrows for seed planting, etc. I had considered something like a Mantis, but really didn't want to deal with yet another gas powered apparatus. So based on reviews on both Amazon and other sites, I decided to take a leap of faith on this tiller/cultivator. To say I am pleased is understatement. It has the power to do the jobs I bought it to do and does them well. Assembly took less than 10 minutes and the instructions were good. It is more heavy duty and solid than I anticipated. The inclusion of two batteries provides all the power I need for the tasks I want to accomplish. While some of the videos I viewed online have the operator pushing it forward, I have found the easiest and most effective technique is to pull it with me as I walk backward along the area I want to cultivate/weed/furrow. Once you are done, the tines are remarkably easy to clean. Highly recommend this little beast.

Fantastic tool! Assembled in 10 minutes. Batteries came charged! No wait. I used it at first to dig a new raspberry patch. It cut through the sod like butter. VERY powerful and EASY to control. Ergonomically friendly. Idle for the home gardener.

The tiller assembled in a snap. No tools required. I have a physical disability and cannot stand without an aid. I was tired of hiring a person to come in every 2-3 weeks to weed my vegetable garden. It was becoming too expensive to maintain. I thought if I could get a light tiller, I would be able to keep the weeds under control. I managed to hand weed one row as a test and then ran the tiller over that. I am right handed, but my right hand is needed to support me. With my non dominant left hand I was able to easily control the tiller. The gardener is coming in a couple of days to weed the rest of the garden, but I have no concern about being able to keep the weeds under control between the rows of vegetables in the future. From its looks to its performance, this is a quality tool. Thanks for throwing in the extra battery as well.

Very nice wireless rotor tiller. Easy to assemble and breakdown for cleaning. Runs very quietly and easy to handle. Did a very . Highly recommend for garden 50 by 75. If garden is larger you will need more than 2 batteries or larger batteries to complete tillage in one session.

Tiller works amazing but I have one battery that will not charge.
