Edit: Great company and good product. Before I had written the previous review they had reached out to make sure all was well with my inhaler but I had not noticed the email. When I explained the situation they offered to send a replacement. The replacement arrived in much better condition but the threads did also contain some minor burrs that were not ideal for longevity. I have added an additional star to my rating as the company did the right thing without hassle and the most recent product I received was definitely of 4 star quality. I hope the manufacture gets the machining of the threads sorted out because it very well could be a 5 star product if it did not have the flaws that could damage it with use. I still suggest purchasing this over other more standard style options. Simply be aware you should look at the threads and use a thin file to remove any excess metal that was left behind. Being aluminum it is very easy to remove the imperfections left behind by mass production. I like the inhaler overall and the wicks seem to be of a high quality but the threads on mine arrived damaged. There are chunks of thread missing from the cap threads and there were portions of the bottom male threads that needed filed away to let it run freely. Great design but for such a small amount of material and a pretty steep price I expected better quality control. As is I don’t have the confidence others do about its durability but realistically I’ll likely lose it before it is unusable.

you can get a dozen made in china inhaler blanks for the price of just one of these but the quality won't be there and you'll likely have issues with caps that aren't tight and come off. This unit is a bit expensive but it comes with several replacement wicks and looks like it should last through years of usage. After long experience with metal threaded objects I recommend that when you unscrew the bottom and the cover both that you take a very tiny amount of some sort of mild oil and coat the threads of the screws to avoid a corroded screw situation, aluminum doesn't rust but it does corrode, I have too many expensive maglights that won't unscrew anymore because corrosion got on the threads at some point and locked it up tight. You can use vaseline or I had some sewing machine oil, you just don't want anything that's going to add an odor to the mix. If I had my way when this was made I would have made the screw on the bottom a reverse thread. The way it is now you can accidentally unscrew the bottom of the unit just trying to get the lid off. This is made very well, would be nice if it came in other colors. I did find one seller on amazon selling these in two other colors but they wanted way too much money for it. This is still an experiment after all, lol. I like that you get several extra wicks with it making it easier to change the mix. I did see someone selling already loaded wicks that will work with this just tear open the envelope and put it in the unit. This unit doesn't have the little internal glass bottle that many of these have you just unscrew the bottom and drop in the already saturated wick. This has the holes at the base that should aid in airflow when using the inhaler. Nice but a little pricey and I'd like a nice purple or blue or red color choice given my way.

This nasal inhaler is amazing. Well made and NO plastics! I was excited to see this product and am really impressed. It's so easy to use - comes with cotton inserts that you drop your essential oils on and close it back up. Seals tightly and the smell is amazing when you use it. I had stuffy nose from a cold and put eucalyptus and peppermint oils in it. Opens everything right up! Great to know exactly what I'm using - no bad additives and no plastic to worry about degrading from the oils. They give you several replacement cotton inserts if you want to change the scent. This will last a lifetime I'm sure! Great inhaler!

Absolutely love this thing! I've been into the essential oils for a couple years now and have multiple tabletop diffusers. I recently came across a company that is selling disposable diffuser pens at a ridiculous price like $20 a piece and they don't even last that long. Then I found this option. This is the real deal this is the one you want!! The expensive pens heat up the essential oil which damages it molecularly. Not good. This on the other hand is perfect. I have seen the glass ones also that compared to this. A lot of the reviews complain that there are no holes in the bottom to create a draw for the air and that they may as well just be sniffing the open bottle LOL. This one on the other hand, haha, is design perfectly with air holes on the bottom to allow air to draw through it. I love that it is Aluminum and is very comfortable in my pocket throughout the workday. My herbalist friend has recently suggested steam inhalation of eucalyptus EO and lavender EO for sinuses. That seems to help me and now I have a way to take that with me anywhere I go. Just awesome! I'm probably going to have to get more of these for Christmas presents and extras for each vehicle and so on LOL. At this price you can't go wrong. Yep, this is my new favorite thing. Only reason I didn't have a picture is because they covered that pretty well. Big thanks to the seller and manufacturer of this new great thing!
