Crompton Lamps LED 284mm DET Tubular 6W SCC-S15 (40W Equivalent) 4000K Cool White Opal 650lm Double-Ended Striplight Mirror-Light Picture-light Light Bulb

I ordered this on 19 June and it arrived fairly quickly and was well packed. It is the same size as the old lamp that was in my bathroom shaver/light fitting and works perfectly.It is brighter than the old 60w bulb but will do ok. ASIN B076GB9CLK - NGPS S15 LED Striplight 284mm 520 Lumen 6W 2700k (284S15) [Energy Class A+] is nearer the old brightness and also slightly cheaper.ASIN B00BWP2J7O - Bell 4w 284mm LED Striplight Opal/Pearl 3000K (830) Warm White Colour (05157) [Energy Class A] may have cheaper running costs as it is rated at 4w; it is as bright as the Crompton lamp but slightly more expensive.

Good light, cool white and seems bright enough. 650 lumen light output. Box says equivalent to 40W incandescent, but looks brighter than that. Bought mainly for the 4000K colour temperature to make it compatible with a new cool white main light in my bathroom fitted as part of refurbishment.

Gives off a very good, bright light. Very happy.

Bought to replace a 60W filament strip light that made me look jaundiced in the mornings. 4000K is a good compromise between 6500K and '2700-3200K'. Very efficient, it is unusual to see a 10:1 difference in power rating, as it is actually brighter than the old Crompton 60W strip bulb.

These were the only 4000k lamps i could find in this size tube..... nice day light colour but not overly bright like 6000k
