This book has some decent information on growing willow for baskets.i keep looking, the more info, the better!

As a total novice, this Jenny Crisp book was exactly what I hoped for. The writing style and beautiful photographs feed my soul and give me the courage and step-by-step directions to try my hand at weaving with willow.

What a great book! I have always learned new things on my own, usually beginning with books. Usually about three different perspectives will set me straight. This book is beautifully built, produced, illustrated and written. From this, I am confident that I can move forward on a little willow adventure. The plus side of this is it is inspiring, for those times I’ll have to dismantle work to correct some oversight I didn’t notice in time. It always happens. The photography and writing will inspire me back into the game.

I am looking forward to making some of these projects with the willow I am now growing. The instructions look real thorough with pics to see with the explanations.

I wish it had talked about more varieties of willow and the growing aspect. That section of the book felt pretty surface level. Her technical skills in the weaving portion are much better

We have a lot of new willow and I want to make some baskets. I read the reviews on this book and purchased it to see if I can make something from my own willows growing.

Il contient beaucoup d'informations utiles sur les techniques de tissage et de vannerie utilisant le saule. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un très bon livre à ajouter à la collection.

This book is beautifully illustrated with easy to follow instructions. I especially like the guidance on growing and harvesting willows. As a keen basketmaker and having just grown my first lot of willows in my allotment , I now know what to do to ensure I have a more productive harvest next year.

a good read ,just wish I would have looked at more information before I ordered. Best suited for UK weather. Not much information on how to make things. Mostly Baskets..but if that's what you're looking for ..this book would probably suit you well. Still informative though .
