Mine do hold 12 ounces as I use them for the frozen French onion soups sold by various grocery outlets, which are 10 ounces each of product. On top of that, I put extra cheese and croutons near the end of cooking and it never runs over the sides of the bowls. I use them at 400 degrees in the oven, but now use the combination of microwave first, and then finish them in an air fryer. Clean up is easy, either by hand or in the dishwasher. Prior to these perfectly sized bowls, I was using larger bowls and not obtaining good results.
