I used the berry scented spray and followed the instructions it came with. The scent reminded me of scented bug spray. It wasn't unpleasant but it wasn't a nice berry scent either. After a day or two, the bug spray scent part dissipated and it smelled like berry scented candle wax. I put a can of California Scents Coronado Cherry organic air freshener and after about three days the candle wax smell was gone and my car smells nice. It's not a great smelling freshener but it did what I wanted it to do, it eliminated the cigarette smoke smell.
