Q: does it work Pentax k-50?

Yes, just used it last week in a Pentax k-50 on a camping trip. Worked great

Q: Since this is 1400 mah battery and the original is 1050 mah, will the charger for the 1050 batter work with this battery to get a full charge?

The original charger will charge the 1400mAh battery just fine. I have used the original charger at least 8-10 times and am getting a much longer run time with the 1400mAh battery than with the 1050mAh battery. Take care, DJ.
