The synergic settings kind of suck, but for 130 dollars on sale, I can deal with dialing in my settings. Once you do get it set, this thing lays down some smooth beads. The torch and leads are incredibly short and do feel flimsy, but again, it's 130 dollars. The consumables crossover to the equivalent local weld supply options. I have a prime weld 285 that I've dedicated to 045 dual shield and didn't want the hassle of swapping 30 lb spools everytime I wanted to run hard wire, so I picked this up for everything under 3/8 and it has not dissapointed. We'll see how it holds up over the long run, but I've already made my money back on it. If it dies tomorrow, it was a win.
