This is a brilliant bit of Kit. Love the design of the unit - love that it can be tall or smaller. have taken camping when it was 34 plus degrees and worked very well in the tent. Also used in the bedroom and love the different settings that you can achieve. This is a fan that I cannot live without. If like me you're on the fence about this one, don't be, it's a very safe purchase. I was using my old desk fan next to the bed during the heatwave, which was doing a good job, albeit a bit noisy but to be honest I'm so tired by the time I hit the sack, I'm usually out like a light within a few minutes anyway. So, a little noise from a fan wouldn't be too much bother for me. This fan really is very quiet on the first few settings. Everyone has different opinions on what is quiet and some people expect complete darkness and silence. From this fan you can have all that and more. The stand does not extend, it has an additional pole to turn it into a stand or remove it for desk use. I actually prefer this idea as it's more sturdy and less things to vibrate. The touch panel display is much better than I had envisaged. It's clear, simple to understand and touch sensitive. I've put the fan at the end of my bed and have it oscillating at 30° with number 2 speed. It's pretty near silent and gives the most gentle breeze without me getting chilly in the night. I've noticed that after setting the degrees you want it to oscillate, it takes a couple of sweeps left and right to set itself. The same can be said for when you switch the fan back on. There's a function to use the built in temperature monitor to change the fan speed too. It is the quietest fan I've had, especially considering the volume of air it shifts, even at low settings. The temperature has now dropped considerably since the fan arrived, but I have no regrets with my purchase and It will be used daily until the cold weather comes. Then I'll look forward to getting it back out again next year. Definitely one of my best purchases this year, it looks very smart, it is very smart and appears to be well constructed. Oh, and the little round remote control is easy to use, plus it sticks to the back of the fan with a magnet when not needed.

I already own other (desktop) fans by MyCarbon and have been very impressed with their quality and quiet operation. However, I needed a taller, freestanding fan for use in the bedroom. After researching various models and reading reviews, I decided on this Levoit grey smart version and I’m genuinely impressed by its build quality and quiet performance. The fan is barely audible on levels 1–3, making it ideal for sleeping at night. It offers up to 12 speed settings, giving plenty of flexibility. The tilt and swivel mechanism is exceptionally smooth and quiet, with a wide range of motion both vertically (from floor to ceiling) and horizontally. The remote control is compact, user-friendly, and conveniently stores magnetically on the back of the fan. The digital display on the stem is clear and switches off after a few seconds, ensuring it doesn’t cause any disturbance during the night. The VeSync app is excellent and easy to set up. It offers more options than the fan’s front screen or remote control, allowing you to set timers and adjust the horizontal and vertical rotation angles. It provides a much more convenient way to interact with the fan, and since the fan connects to your wireless network, you can turn it on or off from another room—or anywhere, really. Very impressive! This is by far the quietest fan I’ve ever owned, and I’ll definitely be purchasing another for a different room. An excellent product overall.

Good looking fan, very sturdy, well built, very easy to setup complete with app to control use. Very powerful and great at cooling a room. Extremely quiet on lower settings. Highly recommended, good value for money - don't hesitate.

Finally, a fan which is actually quiet without an extortionate cost!! I’m not going to say it’s silent, because it’s not. Albeit level 1 and 2 are barely noticeable (volume-wise) but you can start to hear it at 3, and it progresses up to 12. 3 is perfectly acceptable for sleeping still and gives a nice breeze and a VAST improvement on a tower fan that we used previously. 12 is turbo mode and we never really need to go that high. Don’t think I’ve used it over 5, even in this heatwave. Love the remote and that it can be attached magnetically on the back. Probably the only bit of the build quality that seems like a second thought. Still, it’s not awful and it’s unique being round. It wasn’t initially clear but you don’t need the remote and the fan can be controlled completely on the display of the unit. The display can be turned off so no blinding lights at night, and I really like that it tells me the current room temperature. I haven’t tried the intelligent mode yet (where it takes the temp of the room and adjusts accordingly). Build quality is solid. The fan looks and feel expensive. Heavy base so at high speed it doesn’t feel like it is trying to escape! Love the oscillation feature that allows it to go both up and down and side to side at the same time. Tips right up to the ceiling to push the hot air away. Note, it is not strictly extendable. You fit either no pole, or for the longer pole for a taller fan. I thought it was just one pole that extends. No bother for us as we have it on a small set of drawers. Very happy with my purchase and so glad I bought it before we hit 30 degrees in the UK!!

Awesome product!! Super quiet on speed 1-3 but then really powerful on the higher speeds. It has got a remote so you can control it's speed, angle and mode all at your fingertips. It is expensive, but worth it. Awesome value for your money.

Hi, I’ve tried to include a video comparing the bird song from the garden this morning and the fan noise the birds were much louder than the fan! Which hopefully comes out on the video for you. I’m a light sleeper but had this on the first setting all of last night and it didn’t bother me once! You ARE able to hear it, don’t get me wrong, but it’s a very slight fan noise (level 1) and shouldn’t be a problem. The air flow is REALLY good! And that was on the first setting! I didn’t find much cause for a higher setting last night level 1 was more than adequate. This fan was quite a lot of money for me, but early impressions are that it’s been worth it. I’ve tried numerous others which were fine during the daytime but not good for sleeping due to excessive fan noise. This fan feels well made although as they all tend to be it is mostly plastic which is fine, the base is weighted and feels heavy I guess it won’t topple over if it’s on the highest setting and oscillating so no worries there. I won’t be using the oscillating functions, there’s no need I’m in a small apartment but assuming over time that’s potentially an area that may need attention - working parts etc. other reviewers may be able to comment on that for you. I like that the remote control is small and light actually so no additional brick around my apartment. Much older people might struggle as it does have quite a lot of function buttons but in time and with practice should be fine. I have found the touch screen not as responsive to me so prefer the remote but that might be my circulation as I am older, something to perhaps ask the other reviewers about, hopefully it’s a case of getting used to it. It was packaged very well, lots of protection for transit, but for some reason Amazon decided to then put it in a giant box for delivery which the poor delivery driver had to carry. I would have been happy with an Amazon sticker on the original box, but guess that’s policy and not my call. Yes I DEFINITELY would recommend!! It does seem to be worth the money and feels like a quality product it has a number of functions you may find useful. I’m planning to just use it as a basic fan but from last night I can finally say I’ve found a bedroom fan that I can use that won’t disturb my neighbours and let the pigeons outside wake us all up instead!
