ThunderBites Calming Chews For Dogs, 60 Count

We have tried so many other natural calming chews, this one is definitely the best. It's not a magic cure all, but it is a huge improvement, with my pup not as anxious nor does her anxiety episodes last as long. However, we had a bad thunderstorm before dawn, did not know it was in the forecast, and she had full blown episode. She had a dose 12 hours earlier for a storm that came & went quickly, she did well with that one. So the 12 hours between doses, as it states in the directions, is right on the money. I had received small supply from our vet, so once I knew it worked, I bought the 180 count. If you're feeling uncertain about trying this for your pet, talk to your vet. The photo was taken when she was hiding in the closet dealing with her PTSD, no storms, just scared we might get one. I tried everything to make her comfortable, to no avail. Very happy we discovered this product.

I have a 3 1/2 yr old Weimaraner & a 5-month-old Aussie - both highly energetic, playful, and rambunctious.Currently living in a second-floor apartment so keeping them quiet inside has been a real struggle since the puppy joined the family! I have tried multiple different calming products - GNC calming chews, Only Natural Just Relax calming chews, NaturVet Quite Moments calming tablets, ThunderWunder Calming Spray, melatonin tablets, Benadryl, Sentry calming ointment, essential oils in their crates, extra long walks and honestly, the ThunderWunder calming chews are the only product that has successfully worked on my pups! (*All of these products were tried over a long stretch of time and not at all once and gone over with the vet each time before trying them!)While I was hoping for the same result as some of the reviews for these chews (the ones that say they knocked out a fully grown German Shepherd for hours), it hasn't worked quite so successfully to that degree. However, within 20-30 mins after they get the chews, they are lounging around, snoozing, or contently chewing on their dog toys and behaving like the precious babies that they are! I believe that L-Tryptophan and Melatonin together work much better for dogs than just one of them in a calming chew. My pups line up and expect these now whenever I open the laundry room door! (This is where their treats are kept since they are mischevious sneaks who are very good at finding things they shouldn't!)I highly recommend these chews over any other brand as I see them work effectively and while they don't help my pups lay down for a LONG nap as I had hoped, they do chill out and allow me to do my evening work undisturbed! Also great for handling their separation anxiety when no one is home during the work days. Also used in tandem with the Weimaraner wearing her ThunderWunder Shirt, which has been a huge help during thunderstorms!

I have a 6 pound Yorkshire terrier. She dislikes loud noises and car rides. She is so tiny that the very first time, I only gave her a 1/4 piece of the thunder bites, dog calming chews. The second time she got a chew, my husband gave her the entire chew. I had hoped that these dog calming chews would help with her anxiety. Whether she ate a portion or a full chew It didn’t make a noticeable difference. You get a nice sized amount in the container and it stores easily. These chews are not too hard or too soft. She ate it without a problem and she liked the way it tasted. I will be looking for another option to help calm my dog during car rides, etc. I will most likely call my veterinarian office for a prescription medication. I purchased these because I think she is too small to take one of the brands that offered a calming solution with CBD/THC or hemp listed in the ingredients. These don’t contain any of the above ingredients.

We have three dogs with various hyper activeness and they all panic during fireworks and two can't deal with long car rides. No more issues with fireworks or car rides the most hyper one slept half of the time in the car for a 4 hour drive and she used to pant and pace after 20 min in the car for the remainder of the ride.

These are not the same as the chews with hemp seed. The packaging is very similar so I thought they were the same, only a higher quantity. I’m bummed because she likes the ones with hemp and they do calm her. So far I’m not noticing a coming effect with these.This is an FYI so you don’t make the same mistake.

We use these for our elderly pup who is afraid in thunder and they worked like a charm. Helps soothe him and calm his anxiety. He seems to like them. Takes about 30mins to really kick in.

My dog actually didn't show any signs of anything with it no calmness absolutely nothing. She was 125 pounds and my bet told me to give her 12 of them did nothing absolutely nothing so I use something else but she likes to taste of them so they did you know it didn't go to waste. I just maybe if you've got a small dog it might help but with her no no ??? didn’t.

These WORK!!! For our pup, the calming chews help him with his IBS, along with anxiety from bad weather or loud noises.We also use the powdered pumpkin sold on Amazon.. we sprinkle on his kibble to ease IBS symptoms.Kibble is "Sundays".. and it has improved his EVERYTHING!!!!

This is the 2nd calming chew I have tried for my 2 JRTs. It works better than another brand, though it doesn’t eradicate the anxiety & stress entirely. I doubt anything will entirely take it away, but we definitely notice a significant effect compared to another brand.

Product is amazing, I wouldn’t get it from this seller again

Too bad this is not effective to calm/relax my dog whenever i bring her outside.
