Panavise Custom InDash Mount for Lexus LS430 '01-06

Had used proclip in the past, but they didn't offer a solution for this particular vehicle. The Panavise was way better than any proclip we had (Sonata, Odyssey, Freestar). It bolted perfectly to the dash, wasn't terribly hard to install, and worked with our old pro-clip holder. You do need to buy a universal phone holder to screw into this, but it has all the necessary holes to mount most brands and sizes. Do make sure you pay attention to the instructions. There's an extra hidden screw that isn't intuitive. As far as function goes, it keeps the phone high enough you can see it, and operate with your arm on the arm wrest. Is a pain to use with two large cups in the holder, but not prohibitive. Doesn't interfere with the passenger as you might expect it to based on the pictures.

I was looking hard for a mount that would tie in the dash and my phone within easy reach but not dependent on suction or friction and this is it! Instructions were clear to follow (tip: please use plastic dash pry tools versus screwdrivers and such on wood grain interior panels), mounted in less than 30 minutes and added on a phone clip screwed into this base mount to hold the iPhone. Mount keeps phone visible to direct but peripheral vision and also keeps clear of drawers and controls on the dash.

I didn't want my phone cradle to be suction cupped to my windshield or clamped to a vent. This option ties into the car's existing hardware and is incredibly sturdy. I coupled this mount with a phone cradle made for my phone, and I couldn't be happier with the result. It looks like it is part of the cars interior.
