I discarded the current packaging when I put the contents in a previous Roudybush bin. From the information on the bin you cannot tell the quantity of vitamin A, only that it is included. The Roudybush company, I think, would be very helpful; they ask anyone with questions to please call 800-326-1726.

Q: how do you store if you buy a large qty bag/ room temp or freezer?

I was tempted to buy larger bag to save $, but my husband said to stay w/44 oz bag. We keep it zip locked @ room temp w/no problems. We only got the bird in Feb & still on 1st bag, as bird also gets table food & has a tiny tummy.

Q: Did the color of the pellets change recently? The bag I just received is darker in color and has black spots throughout. Expiration date is good btw.

I recently bought a bag of Roudybush Daily Maintenance, Small size, for my yellow nape. The color looks about the same. I really can't see any black dots per se. There are some specs, but I'm not sure if they were there in last batch I bought. Give Roudy a call if you are unsure. 800 326-1726. I've called them before and they are very helpful. My parrot loves Roudy. It is all she will eat. You know how finicky parrots can be. Have you offered the pellets to your parrot to see if he'll eat it. He won't eat it if it has greatly changed. Q: What size pellets would work best for a Senegal?

I use small for both my Quaker and Orange Winged Amazon. I would guess the size of your Senegal is close to my Quaker. This size works great. I tried the mini and it was to small.
