Definitely dairy free
I used the product to make chicken parmigiana without any cheese of course - just basic chicken cutlets in sauce and for the first time in a very long time didn’t get sick - I’m extremely lactose intolerant. They are a bit pricey but for people like me definitely worth it !

Great for GF diets
I season these myself w garlic, onion powder and Italian seasoning and use as shake n bake for chicken, pork and veggies. Daughter loves it and I enjoy it as well. Price could be better but we're used to GF costs being higher. Good quality item though.

I use it, it's okay, useful for gluten free folks. Can burn a bit fast, so be careful
This is the breading I use when I want to do breaded chicken breast or pork chops or zucchini. It's not as good as regular breadcrumbs, and it will burn pretty fast. There is a certain dryness to it thats grainier than wheat crumbs. But I find this useful.I had bought it a couple times at a local shop, then ordered from Amazon recently. My order of four ended up an order of 3. The package was not properly packed, and one of the containers caved in and crumbs spilled out. I had to toss that. I'm hoping amazon will credit me for the damaged item, but not sure if they will. No returns on this item, so be aware that it is a risk to order this in the way it is currently packaged for delivery. The product is fine for gluten free folks who understand the taste/reaction to heat is not identical to regular gluteny crumbs. But I still find it a useful product and has a simpler ingredients list/ fewer additives than some other gluten free crumbs I've seen.Update: I reported the damaged item, and a replacement was immediately sent out.

Tough to open
Downside: The bread crumbs are unseasoned (a choice between seasoned and unseasoned as offered in supermarkets would be nice). The texture was a little on the fine side giving less crunch. What I found objectionable (and why I gave it one star less) was the packaging. The lid was literally impossible to remove. My husband even tried using a vice and pliers to no avail. Because I was in the process of cooking and short on time I resorted to simply cutting a hole in the top to get the stuff out. Of course that meant having to repackage the contents in a different container. Upside: The crumbs were usable, the recipe didn't suffer and the price was competitive. The fact that I had to get four containers was no problem as I use bread crumbs frequently and they can be frozen. I was especially pleased to get my hands on a product that was not only gluten free but contained no partially hydrogenated oil -- something I searched for in markets for years. Despite the packaging I will be using this product again unless I find one offering more user friendly packaging.

Gluten Free plus a great flavor!
I love these crumbs better than regular crumbs because they hold on to baked and fried foods way better. The flavor is great as well. There are several ingredients that grow yeast in my son's gut and these crumbs are free of all those ingredients.

Product fine, but not well packaged
I love these bread crumbs - and there was no problem with the product itself. However, it was not well packaged. It was in a big box with other items and, and no cushioning at all. By the time it got to me, one of the containers of bread crumbs was broken and completely empty. Other items in the box were torn open and had bread crumbs inside them. Even had a trail of bread crumbs from delivery truck to my porch.

Best Gluten Free Crumbs ever
These are the very best gluten free bread crumbs we have found in our 2 years of being gluten free. They are light, and work just like regular bread crumbs do on all types of food. We have used them to make fried chicken, jalepeno poppers, eggplant parmesan chicken cordon bleu, and more. We ordered them when they were available on subscribe & save, which they no longer are. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to duplicate any previous non-gluten-free bread crumbs recipes that they miss.
