A durable, flexible cover
I like they have a flexible plastic cover that allows you to bend the notebook if needed, but won't tear off. Great for taking notes.

Not it ...
Last I checked, these were not a multi colored pack ... one star solely for the wrong color selection. Needed the multi for my grade school kid requirements.UPDATE: Sent back and ordered a replacement. The second is the replacement. Exactly the same. The labeling even has it as multi-colored. Clearly someone just doesn't care enough to package things correctly (or make sure the machine is loaded correctly).

PAPER COVER—NOT POLY AS ADVERTISED
School supply list specified “Poly composition books” I ordered these, not opening the package until the night before school started, the covers are cardboard, NOT POLY.
