This will be easy: pros and cons. The cons are that it might be easy to lose this in the couch cushions. Seriously. And everything else are pros. I really like this. I gave it a torture test right when I got it, for audio quality, sensitivity, duration, and file transfer / playback. Each and every one of those was fully adequate and completely satisfactory. Maybe the big surprise is that it comes with every flavor of cable you will need for charging, transfer, listening, or anything else you might want to do. Very well thought through. This is a voice quality recorder and it does that very well. I don't think it would record music with high fidelity, and I didn't even try. (Sample rate is 16000 Hz and 8000 max freq response.) The parameters are adjustable if you're slightly geeky, and the defaults will satisfy the casual user, and can be left untouched. And in that regard, you buy this, you open the box, and switch the little on/off switch, and you are using the product. Zero setup and zero confusion. To play back, or to retrieve the mp3 file(s) it takes a teeny more effort, but to actually.capture the audio, it really is that foolproof. You can plug in the USB cable to your computer and this device, and it looks like a simple thumb drive. It's that easy. And to listen instead, with no PC, the headphones and button interface works very well. Besides the caveat for the couch cushions, also be aware that if you touch or move your fingers or bump the case while recording it will pick up that noise. So it's best to lay it down or hang it somewhere and don't touch while recording (just like any microphone!). You can tell I am thrilled by this purchase. I bought it as a dedicated recorder for my club's satellite QSOs, and I hung the recorder off the radio using the lanyard. It's just great for this purpose. And I will probably.buy a second one for my casual recording needs around the ham shack here. At this price, why not? [edit: spelling]

Surprisingly reliable! Works great. There's a little program to run to set the clock. the default settings work great. I changed it so it does another file every 30 mins to help with uploading to a trascription service if needed. Only drawback is no easy way to tell the battery charge percentage. Just make sure you let it charge for a while before you intend on a heavy usage day. Very discreat. Easily fits in a pocket.

I bought two of these because I really loved how compact they are. Unfortunately, both stopped showing up as a device when I try to access the recordings, (i have samsung and a laptop) which makes them unusable. I’m really disappointed.

I had to return this because you cannot listen to what you have recorded because there isn't a speaker on the device. I did like the quality it seemed very sturdy. the size was very small and I can see people using it that are recording classes or seminars but they're just not functional for a day today voice memo recordings.

I was very impressed with the size of the voice recorder, it is small enough to fit into any pocket, making it seriously portable for any occasion. The exterior housing of the recorder is also made of high quality metal materials. The sound recorder is super easy to use, voice can be recorded by clicking a single button or use the voice activation. The recorder comes with 64gb of storage capacity, which is more than enough for average user like me. But hey, it is always good to have some extra storage space available.

Estamos ante una grabadora digital de muy buena calidad, muy versátil y funcional y muy discreta, con una capacidad de para 58GB La grabadora en sí mide 5,5cm de largo x 3,5cm de ancho x 0,5cm de grosor, es como un pen drive pesa unos pocos gramos y es muy, muy sencilla de utilizar, además permite la activación por voz. Es de color azul metalizado muy elegante y los materiales al taco son muy suaves y agradables y se nota que son de calidad. Para grabar no puede ser más fácil, le das al botón de on que está en el lateral frontal y verás un pequeño agujero que tiene un led dentro que se enciende primero azul y luego parpadea tres veces en rojo, eso indica que ya está grabando, el led se apaga para más discreción. Cuando quieras dejar de grabar y guardar lo grabado, sólo tienes que darle al botón de on/off en posición off y listo. Está pensado para que se pueda manejar fácilmente de forma discreta. Para reproducir lo grabado hay dos formas de hacerlo, puedes conectar la grabador ESTANDO APAGADA con el cable que trae USB TypeC a USB A a cualquier ordenador, también trae un adaptador de USB TypeC a USB A para añadirlo al cable y poder conectarlo a un movil compatible OTG. Al conectarla te aparecerá una unidad USB de almacenamiento nueva y dentro hay una carpeta RECORD con las grabaciones realizadas en formato MP3 o puedes reproducir sin conectarlo a ningún PC, ya que dentro de la caja trae un mando de control con conexión USB TypeC que tienes que conectar a al grabadora y después encenderla, el led se pondrá azul parpadeante y también trae unos auriculares con conexión jack que se conectan a este mando, en este mando tenemos controles de play, stop, avanzar, retroceder, siguiente, anterior, subir y bajar volumen. Se pueden configurar ciertos parámetros por defecto de las grabaciones editando un archivo de texto que está en la raíz de la unidad y que se llama "2159-RECSET.txt": - Time: Para la fecha y hora de las grabaciones - Gain: Sensibilidad de la ganancia en las grabaciones del 1 al 5, por defecto viene en 5 - Vor: Sensibilidad de activación por voz del 1 al 7, por defecto viene 0 que es desactivado - Bit: Bitrate de las grabaciones del 1 al 9, 64k, 128k, 160k, 256k, 512k, 768k, 1024k, 1526k. En caso de ordenadores MAC sólo se puede hacer utilizando el archivo de texto de configuración. En la unidad también tenemos el manual en PDF en varios idiomas, dentro de la carpeta "V53(e-Manual)-2159", aunque también lo trae en papel dentro de la caja, también en varios idiomas. La grabadora también tiene un pequeño orificio con un botón de reset que hay que apretar con una aguja o la punta de un clip y es para resetearla a los valores de fábrica. Por último decir que el último accesorio que trae es un asa de transporte de cordón que se inserta en unos agujeritos que la grabadora tiene en una de las esquinas. En general muy completa, trae absolutamente de todo lo necesario para poder reproducir tus grabaciones en un PC, en un móvil o de forma autónoma. La he estado utilizando en diferentes circunstancias y la verdad es que la grabaciones, a pesar de no llevar la grabadora cerca de la boca, son niñitas y se oyen muy bien, es perfecta para esconderla en cualquier recoveco o bolsillo y grabar discretamente todo lo que se hable, porque al tener reducción de ruido ambiente filtra muy bien los sonidos accesorios de al rededor. Producto totalmente recomentable.

First look: The Digital Voice Recorder came in a box (13.4 cm x 13.4 cm x 2 cm) with "Digital Voice Recorder" written on the front. The box was wrapped in plastic and contains the voice recorder, 2 User Manuals (French & English), “User Tips” paper, a “Quick Help” page with QR codes for the YouTube Operating Video, plug-in microphone with clip, USB-C to USB-A charging cord, wrist strap, USB-C to USB-C cord, and 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm audio cable. There is a 64 GB microSD (TF) card already installed in the recorder, and the internal memory is 32 GB which should add to about 96GB not the 92GB advertised, but perhaps this discrepancy accounts for the operating system and menus. The recorder's built-in memory only supports FAT32 format. The device supports microSD (TF) cards up to 128 GB, but must be in exFAT format, so format additional TF cards in the recorder, not the computer. Measurements: The voice recorder is about 3.9 cm wide x 10 cm long x 1.3 cm thick, and weighs 98 g. The display screen is 2.8 cm wide x 3.5 cm or 4.5 cm across the diagonal. Opinion: At first I thought this was too complicated for quick use but I'm happy to have read the instructions and understand the slide bar on the right side easily turns the recorder on and off. Then I can plug it into my computer and download the files. I like that it has both the internal memory and ability to use microSD (TF) cards, although they must be formatted in the recorder itself for the proper format. I am happy that the menu allows me to change the files to 30 mins so if I forget to stop the recording, I can just delete the extra files rather than having huge files. I like the idea of the AVR (Activated Voice Recorder), for smaller file sizes without a lot of blank space. The only problem with this is the timing won’t be correct. When I downloaded my recordings to the computer, it gave each of them a 14-digit number. The first 8 digits are the date in yyyymmdd and the last 6 digits is the time in hhmmss. This is useful because all the recordings are labelled with the date & time and arranged in the correct order. Since this recorder can record from “Line-in”, I hope to use it for recording music from old CD or tape players with an audio jack and the 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable included. This port can also be used to record with the external microphone, but the menu must be changed to match in both cases. Be sure to change this back to “Internal microphone” when you are finished or it will not record normally. The speaker sounds very tinny so music sounds best played with external speakers or headphones (not included). Since this recorder has the option of shuffle playback, I will be using it in my car to play music on my car stereo with the 3.5mm jack. My older players have special chargers, and the batteries are wearing out quicker, so I am glad this has is the usual USB type-C port for charging. The newer phones only have Bluetooth and my car still has the 3.5mm jack instead so this is perfect! I am happy with this voice recorder/ music player as I can use it for a variety of purposes.

Diese intuitive Bedienung spart mir viel Zeit und reduziert die Gefahr, wichtige Interviews oder Vorträge zu verpassen. Der große Speicher von 58GB ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Er ermöglicht es mir, bis zu 850 Stunden Aufnahmen in hoher Qualität (160kbps) zu speichern, was besonders praktisch ist, wenn ich mehrere längere Interviews oder Konferenzen dokumentieren muss. Der eingebaute 300mAh-Akku hält beeindruckende 35 Stunden lang, was perfekt für Langzeitaufnahmen ist, ohne dass ich ständig an das Aufladen denken muss. Die Sprachaktivierungsfunktion ist ebenfalls sehr nützlich. Sie filtert effektiv Hintergrundgeräusche heraus und spart sowohl Speicherplatz als auch Batterie, indem sie nur aufzeichnet, wenn gesprochen wird. Allerdings war diese Funktion standardmäßig deaktiviert, und es dauerte eine Weile, bis ich herausgefunden hatte, wie man sie gemäß der Bedienungsanleitung einschaltet. Le Dictaphone est de bonne qualité, les finitions sont très bonne, il est en aluminium du plus bel effet. Il est très simple à utiliser, il suffit de mettre le bouton sur on et l’enregistrement démarre. La qualité du sons est bonne, j’ ai conservé les réglages d’origine mais il est possible de le paramétrer à sa guise selon le type d’enregistrement souhaité. Le paramètrage s’effectue à l’aide d’un pc ou Mac en modifiant un fichier de code. Toutes les instructions sont clairement détaillées dans le manuel. La lecture des fichiesr peut s’effectuer directement sur l’appareil à l’aide de la télécommande et du casque fourni ou bien les fichier peuvent être téléchargés sur un ordinateur. La qualité de l’enregistrement peut également être paramètré selon si le choix s’oriente sur la qualité ou sur le faible encombrement des fichiers.
