Dremel Parts 2610914543 Flexible Inner Core

After breaking my original inner core I got this replacement. Quick install and I've been running the dremel all weekend with no issues! Perfect fit, great quality, great price!

I purchased both the aftermarket inner shafts as well as this OEM shaft and the difference is apparent. You pay a couple of dollars more for this shaft but you get your money's worth with increased durability making it an overall better value. Like all inner shafts it should be lubricated prior to assembling it and it's very easily put into service. The power is transferred smoothly down the flex shaft and it functions well. If you are like myself and get a lot of use out of your flex shaft this inner shaft makes sense as you won't have to replace it as often as you would the lighter weight shafts.

This is an exact OEM match to original and it has been working flawlessly all day yesterday, I'm gonna purchase another as a spare.

Had to replace old one

I use the Dremel flex shaft primarily for wood carving . I ordered this flex shaft replacement cable from Amazon.... 2 CABLES. Both were genuine Bosch products. But BOTH but it did not come pre-lubricated! They were SHINY & BRIGHT GOLD IN COLOR. Both cables Failed / Broke Within a week! I have used the flex shaft for many many years and I've never had a problem where two inner cables broke so easily. I contacted Dremel Technical/Customer support and they informed me that the gold cables were probably unlubricated when shipped from the factory. They told me they should have been pre-lubricated before shipping. They confirmed the product should be Grey-Black in color with an Oil coating. I ordered another cable from Amazon and that came pre-lubricated, dull gray in color with oily Lubricant coating the Entire Cable. These worked fine. NOTE: If they ship you a bright gold cable, either return it or make sure you LUBRICATE THE CABLE properly before inserting it into the flex shaft tube , or it WILL OVERHEAT & BREAK!

I work with my Dremel ALOT and my flex shaft is heaven sent since I have small hands. Unfortunately, the shaft snapped while in use. I think something for wrapped around it. Anyway, bought this, removed the half snapped shaft from the rotary tool, rubbed the new one down with 3 in 1 oil, and installed. Works perfect! The price was definitely a huge bonus. All the e&replacement parts had a great price but with shipping tacked on, I would've had to pay well over $20. I can get new Flexshaft for $20 off eBay or Mercari so I thought that would be pointless.

Fits Dremel flex shaft perfect and works good, worth the price.
