This is great scalp treatment without being messy/greasy and it has a pleasant smell. The wonderful thing is that over the decades, the quality has remained the same. However, we make a similar product in our Coconut Oil range called Coconut Oil Formula Shining Hairdress Moisture Gro. That product is highly moisturizing. It smoothes and protects hair from damage and gives your hair a glossy sheen. That product's color is white. **Q: does it really help your hair grow?** A: My goal has not been to grow hair but to keep it moisturized and healthy. I believe it will grow if it is allowed to remain moisturized and not break. This is an excellent product and I have been using it for 35 yrs.
