Surprisingly Love It — Perfect for Seltzer Fans!
I went back and forth on getting this because I wasn’t sure if it would end up being a waste — but I’m so glad I bought it! It’s super easy to use, and since I already love seltzer water, it honestly feels like a no-brainer. I’ve had it for about a week now, and it works great. The size is decent — it’s a little tall, so I keep mine on my bar cart since it doesn’t fit under my kitchen cabinets. I haven’t had any issues with it overflowing like some reviews mentioned. I’ve tried it plain, with Bubly drops, and with Mio, and I like it all. I also love that it doesn’t require any power, so you can place it anywhere. It came with two bottles — one larger and one smaller/travel-size — which is really convenient. The fizz actually lasts really well if you store it in the fridge. Overall, very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone who drinks seltzer often!

We love it!
We love it! We live in a returnable bottle state, so it’s nice to not have to return soda bottles. The Pepsi Zero tastes just like the bottled version.

SodaStream drink bottle and CO2 bottle compatibility
Very nice operation just pushup and pull handle down. Does work with old drink bottles. It does not work with old CO2 bottles. The CO2 bottle also pushes in; it does not screw in and cannot be used with direct to co2 bottle to machine adapter. You must purchase the adapter for this. WATER ONLY!
This product is the great at what it does best- adding carbonation to water quick and easily. However, I would not recommend it for anything other than drinking PLAIN seltzer water. My biggest gripe is that this particular model (Art) was advertised to me as a way to "carbonate more than just water" but nowhere in any blog, website, or advert fed to me (legit or not) did it -clearly- state that this is ONLY intended for water. It was explicitly advertised as an appliance that can be used to "recarbonate soda" or "add fizz to juice for cocktails." I guess that's true... if you also plan to repaint half your kitchen... I still use it all the time, but only for plain fizzy water. It saves cans and money because plain seltzer at the grocery store is nearly as expensive soda at this point, but I am disappointed it will not show on other beverage costs for my family. The flavors available are terrible. I have bought 12+ syrups from different sellers and brands, online and offline, and not a single one has tasted even remotely good. Even the on-brand soda flavors from this company (with real sugar) have a bad after taste and even if you can tolerate that questionable flavor you still need to add twice as much syrup to match the taste of the real soda. It also takes up a lot of vertical space for such a limited use product. The machine barely fits under the lip of our cabinets even after measuring, the curved top sticks up higher only in the middle but prevents it from fitting well. I assume to accommodate the air canister, but a mini model would be great. I prefer the 450ml bottle with strap vs the 840ml because x2 small bottles hold more water relative to the large one and are easier to transport. The large bottles do not fit in my car cupholders. I also did not realize Walmart is the only place where I can replace the canister locally. The canister exchange locator online is inaccurate. The canister exchange program was the leading factor as to why I tried this out, but at this point I will have to find another option.
