I didn't want to pay to rent cabanas or umbrellas. I wanted to own an easy pop-up tent to use again and again. It's not huge. But it can shield your face while lying, and a couple people can site under it. What I like about this product as a beach shelter is that it has pockets at the sides that you can fill with sand to give it stability and stop it from blowing away. It's a very simple but clever design...and it works. The carrying case comes with clear instructions, there is a video on you tube and the instructions tell you to practise three or four times BEFORE taking it out to the beach. I folded it back in first time after paying attention to the online video. If you can't do the same, it's almost certainly your fault and not the fault of the product.
