It was easier to adject the height than I expected, they are also very light. Two issues I found were: 1. It does not fit into my regular backpack, so I need to carry them separately or to attach them to the backpack with straps. The sticks have their own carry bag, so it is not a big deal, but I would appreciate a smaller size. 2.
