Granted we've only had it a day now so who knows how it'll stand the test of time but so far it's excellent. It was significantly smaller & lighter than the one it was replacing so I was initially worried it wouldn't cool as well. This was definitely not the case, it cooled out room quickly & well. It's well made & looks nice. It was very straightforward to get set up, probably the least hassle out of any we've owned. There is a remote for it, & the app is awesome. It was super easy to pair to the app- it pretty much did everything itself- & you can do/view pretty much anything from the app. The app also has the user manual & maintenance on it, which is a blessing for people like me that lose literally everything. Works great, very impressed. Hopefully it stays that way. So far would definitely recommend.

This is a very good portable air conditioner. It is a premium product. Nice looking. Hence the price. It does blow air very strong but it is relatively quiet averaging around 40 -42 db from a few feet away. The sleep mode makes it even quieter. It has an eco mode supposedly for efficiency but didn't find it to be effective. The best feature is that it pauses and goes silent when it reaches pass its target temperature long enough just like you'd see from an HVAC. Somehow, I was not getting this during eco mode. As it gets close to reaching its target temperature, it gets less noisy. So it depends on how hard it has to work. I think this would be best in a room that is no more than 200 sq ft., although it can work further than that without a problem, it'll just take longer for it to reach its goal, if you're looking for it to be quiet sooner and silent. The app for the phone is very helpful too! You can control it remotely even outside your house, showing the temperature in the room it's been working with, and when it's time to clean it. All said, I wish Dreo had an inverter version because I'm in Houston and this may not stand well in the harsh summer heat. I'll just be hearing it working hard all day long.

I've had this unit for six months now. Cooling ability is excellent. The functionality with the app is flawless. It even let's you know when you've reached 600 hours and it's time for general maintenance. The app then gives instructions with images and videos on how to perform the maintenance. It's easy. This is my third Dreo product. I can't speak highly enough about their products and customer care.

Great portable air conditioner. I am so happy to finally have found one that works well. Hassle free installment. Comes with different size window panels to accommodate minimum size window 18" upto 53". Been working 30 hours and I have not had to drain. Cools my 165 square feet room in less then 30 minutes to a very cold temp of 61 degrees. I like it very cold when I sleep because I like to use my cozy quilt. Do not hesitate to buy. I have purchased 4 portable air conditioners. One stop working after a year and the others I had to return for one reason or other and what a hassle that was. It is a small but powerful machine but noise level is low. Furthermore the machine looks great. I am considering buying another one for my living room. I am so happy to have found this machine after many hot summers. Where I live, I can't install a window air conditioner so this find has been a blessing.

I bought the 10,000 btu for a bedroom when the central air was on the frits. My bedroom is about 16x15. It works well, but a few complaints - it is a tad noisy shutting on and off, it dims the lights when coming on, and it also short cycles a bit. I read that there is a diy fix for the lights dimming, which is actually more annoying -- it was a $15 part, but you have to take it apart to install it. For this price, why don't they just install it? As far as short cycling, my room may be slightly small for this size, but I wish there were a way to set it so that I can make it run a little longer between cycles, like setting how many degrees to let the temperature rise to before coming back on. I also wish it had a longer exhaust hose so that I could position it better, especially at night. I keep wondering if I should have gotten something a little cheaper.

I have had three Dreo small-space heaters over a period of about 2 years now, and they are all bosses! So I got this last night, and the first thing that impressed me was how quiet it is. This is the 4th portable ac I've bought, and the quietest. Very pleasant, and you really don't hear it. It is simple and user-friendly. It looks nice (white) and seems to cool very well, but I've only used it briefly.

Transformed my garage in a gym in Florida - now I can use it even during Summer days. I can schedule the AC to turn on 5am, and do my training at 6am in confy temperature. Remote is great, great air flow, quality is high. Recommend!

This is the best portable AC I have had. Love this unit. I had never heard of Dero before now but liked the features it offered and took a shot. Have had it about a month now. It work perfectly like the temp settings and can hook it to my Google nest. Its super quiet but cools the room so we'll. I will be checking them again if I ever need another.
