I had an old cassette deck that I thought I would have to junk, but I read on the Internet that you could this stuff to repair a crackly gain control. Well, neither gain control functioned at all, so I sent off to Amazon for a can of this stuff hardly expecting it to work. I sprayed into the pot from inside the machine and around the spindle, twiddled the knob to and fro and suddenly the gain control was functional again. Then the sound from the cassette deck was rather muffled, so I sprayed inside the phono connectors and cleaned them with a cotton bud and again the sound was magically restored. I have also used this stuff on model railway locomotives and track, also with amazing results.

Was actually delivered two days before reported delivery date,thanks.I have since fixed function dial on water damaged bridge camera,which was almost new but unusable.Also fixed display illuminator switch on electronic language translator.Have in the past made temporary fixes with ordinary water dispersant sprays,but this is the real deal.Excellent price, delivery and product,who needs an electrician ? Have given one can to my daughter and will buy more when it eventually runs out.One word of warning,it dissolved glue under rubber grip on camera.I had to hold it in place for five minutes while it reset,so mask off any glued attachments near spray area.I would imagine this product is excellent for dials and switches in cars and audio equipment.

Servisol the go to switch cleaner with very little residue, if any. A little expensive but very good.

Used to fix a crackling pair of sliders on a Behringer mixer (I know, I know..... to be expected. ) They had been like this for several months - returning it to Behringer for an expensive overhaul seemed like the only option as it was secondhand and well out of any warranty anyways... However Google recommended a squirt of Servisol. I pulled the trigger and bought two cans. Arrived yesterday and gave the offending items a very minor squirt, right down the sliders... and guess what? Now no crackling, no noise and a very smooth action. It's like having a new mixer!!! Can't recommend this stuff enough - all those months of putting up with and finding way's around sonic rubbish! I'm a happy musician now. ☺️

I bought this Servisol Super 10 contractor because I’ve discovered wind up clocks can be cleaned with Contact Cleaner, while waiting for the stock at work to be replenished, I decided to buy my own, and chose this one. I’ve used it to clean this clock, and later, used it in a machine breakdown at work, I got a college to film it, and got good results in restoring the contact resistance of a limit switch back to what it should be, after all it is Contact Cleaner, and this makes an interesting review. I got two cans of it, so I can keep one in my toolbox at work, and the other in my shed at home. I am pleased with the results, both with its intended use, and the cleaning and lubricating effect for cleaning delicate mechanisms.

Having a keen interest in all things electrical, maintenance of these is a satisfying hobby. So a good quality contact cleaner with an added lubricant is an essential piece of kit. SERVISOL has always been reliable and up to the job in hand.
