Has a fine, not extra fine, tip
Ever since the Sharpie brand no longer produced fine tip, but only extra fine tip, permanent markers, this has been the better choice.

Need to write on teflon or other difficult materials?
These pens are simply wonderful. I first used them in a lab because they write on teflon labware. I now use them at home because I haven't yet found a dry solid material that they won't mark. Expensive? Somewhat, but for what I often need them for, they are worth it!

Good density
The ink is a dark nearly opaque black, unlike Sharpie Extra Fine Point, which is a pale purple. Line width is similar to Sharpie Extra Fine Point.

Ink wore out way too fast!
I tried one pen and it didn't last through two drawings. I do watercolors and use a pen just a little when I'm done so I don't use much ink, I've done one drawing with the second one so far. To be fair, maybe the next ones will be better.

Good poduct
They are fine tipped as it says but they are not great for writing on irregular surfaces which is much of what I use them for in the RC hobby world. They are good on paper and hard smooth surfaces though.

Fine writing- don’t smudge even on difficult surfaces once dry
Very good fine writing perm markers, we use them for freezer labels and they are one of the few I have come across that don’t smudge once dry even on glossy labels or bags.

Best for plant labels
Have used these for some years for plant labelling and they are the most light fast.
