That oil not only did not clear my skin (which broke out to stress and vicious cycle of using harsh products) it gave me dry patches that looked like a rash and would burn and sting when I sweated, so early summer was not a great time for my skin. I wanted to give CeraVe a try because I remembered using it as a teen but after looking into it, saw that it wasnt Vegan (and not CF). Thank goodness I found Ceramedx. My skin felt better the next morning after I used it the first night. It was no longer tight, hot and itchy. I use it both AM and PM and the consistency is a lightweight lotion. It's been a few weeks now and in combination with the Ceramedx body lotion (which I use on my face in the PM for nights when I need something extra) the Ceramedx facial wash and a SA toner; my skin has started to heal AND clear up. I really wish these products were more widely available in stores so more people have a chance to try it. It's healing, not harsh, simple, reasonably priced, CF AND VEGAN! This super hydrating product packs a lot of high quality Ingredients into a great sized pump bottle. It goes on like a thin lotion, soaks into the skin without leaving any weird film or greasiness. Your skin stays hydrated all day even though it feels like you have nothing on. I use this in the summer as a lightweight moisturizer option and pair it with Ceramedx cream in the winter. I have SUPER sensitive dry skin so I am very picky about ingredients. I really appreciate this formulation, as it has done so much to calm my dry skin. No noticeable scent but also doesn’t smell gross like some unscented skincare products. Sunscreen & Makeup goes on flawlessly over top. Best part - it’s Vegan(no animal guts or juices in it), cruelty free (no torturing of animals), and no parabens (hormone disrupters). All boxes checked with this one! Score of 9/10. Now, if we could just get more eco friendly/sustainable/low waste packaging it would be a 10/10!
