Get trimmer for the price
Very happy with the trimmer quality, especially for the price. It’s really easy to use and comes with 4 different guards.

As advertised
Excellent product. Sharp trim. Love the ability to lock power button for travel.

Decent
First impression: These are SHARP. Straight out the box. Like, using light pressure, still sliced into my forehead. So def be careful. That said, they do a decent job at edging up. Will help you achieve clean, sharp lines. The power button is a bit of a nuisance. The combination of where it’s located and the sensitivity of it conspired to have me turning the blades on/off when I didn’t intend to. Also, the blades heat up pretty quickly imo. Overall not bad.

Waste of money.
Would give this thing no stars if I could. I have tried to gap it with the tool and have adjusted it multiple times and can't get it to make clean cuts. My cheap Walmart Phillips one is 10x better and cuts way closer to the skin. This thing is awful and a waste of money. Wish I never bought it. Update- was sent another trimmer thinking my first was faulty, but nope. It's the same thing. This is the furthest away from a "sharp" cut. Even with the guard on trimming your beard it pulls the hair as it "cuts" through it because the blades are so junky.

Straight edge is cheap
Clippers work fine. Straight edge razor won’t hold the blades.

Excellent little kit
Out of the box I am impressed by the quality of the finish, the accessory organization and the overall design of the shaver. It looks and feels well made and would make a good present for a person in your life with a beard. The trimming experience was awesome, but everything is relative and I am no beard expert (just a long-term wearer) so it's worth giving a reference for what I have used in the past and why I liked this trimmer so much. I have been using a major name brand electric razor as my primary beard trimmer for about 5 years. I also use a small electric moustache trimmer, a set of beard scissors and of course a regular razor for edge cleanup and the clean-shaven parts of my face and neck. I've gone on and off with using beard oil and am currently not using it. The weak point in my beard routine was always the name brand electric razor, hence my excitement to try something new and apparently more specialized. This razor has much more cutting power than my other electric razor and is super easy to clean. The cleaning experience is an absolute joy vs. the annoying alternative. This alone would make me prefer this razor if it was equal, but the quality of the blade is great. I'm not sure how long it will stay as sharp as it was out of the box, but it was definitely way sharper than the standard razor and did an outstanding job of trimming my beard hairs. The overall ergonomics of the razor are also great. It is heavier than the other one I was using, but this is a good thing, as it isn't too heavy and gives some weight and confidence in use. My other razor has occasionally pulled out hairs, even when it was new. This feels like it is far less likely to do that and I love that it comes with directions for re-adjustment. All around I ended up being able to skip the beard scissors entirely when using this razor, which was a time saver. I did use it for my moustache just to see if it was a true replacement for the moustache razor, and it did OK. I still think I prefer the precision of my moustache razor, but the edge of this razor did pretty well and I didn't have to switch at any point. The moustache razor is a major culprit when it comes to yanked hairs, so if I am able to replace both electric razors and the beard scissors with this long term it will be perfect. I did find that I still needed to clean up the edges and my neck with a non-electric razor, but I suppose they included a straight razor in this kit for a reason... I personally don't like straight razors, particularly during allergy season (this spring has been brutal) so I'm going to stick to my normal razor for that and ignore the included (albeit nice looking) razor from the kit. All around this feels like great value for money and a very giftable product. I will update if I experience any degradation in the trimming experience, but for now I give this an enthusiastic five stars.
