The size is perfect for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My favorite hiking boot *by C***Y on March 8, 2026* Now that I’ve hiked about 50 miles (80km) in these boots, I can confidently recommend them. Not a loose thread in sight. I’ve hiked through creeks, I’ve submerged them in water AND mud. During a particularly treacherous hike, I had to walk through deep mud that covered the entire boot, laces and all. I used my water bladder from my hiking pack to rinse it, and it was back to looking fine. I didn’t take any special steps to clean or dry them, just kept hiking.They’re definitely waterproof, I’ve walked straight through the creek with no issues. I have a wider foot so I chose a wide and I’m glad I did. I feel like I could easily get another 50-100 miles out of these boots before they show any signs of needing replacement. They’re sturdy, the laces are nice and strong too. They’re not too heavy and they are able to fit wool socks into comfortably when I adjust the laces. I’ve even doubled up socks and made the fit. Still comfortable with my summer socks too.
