I bought one to help boost WiFi. Works very well so I bought another for my basement.

Works great. Purchased for the back yard.

After a few months, I realized that it kept powering down even while plugged in. I think it's due to overheating.

It works fine as an extender/booster of WiFi. Installation was fast and easy. I found that in my situation that If I placed it too too close to the wifi hub, the wifi signal was actually weaker. I found it was best close to the area of the "dead zone" versus halfway between. I used a free app on my phone to test wifi signal in various areas to find the best location.

Not sure this is really boosting my wi-fi signal very much. I do seem to have a stronger signal outside on my deck but inside my house, the signal doesn't seem to be that much stronger.

I have some WiFi lightbulb cameras. The one over the garage will not extend the signal to my router. I put the extender in my laundry room. It pushes the signal through the outer garage door and wall to connect to the camera bulb. It was super easy to set up. I just plugged it in and opened settings to set it up. It did all the work for me.

I buy one almost a year ago. They just give me a liitle signal and eventually die creating hardware isues at my computer
