I ordered this plant in September, and received it promptly (2 days earlier than expected). The plant was well packed, (root had some damp soil and was wrapped in plastic); and was protected in the package (with a lot of newspaper padding), but in spite of that, it had dropped quite a few leaves and a side shoot had broken off in transit. I followed the instructions for re-planting very carefully, to ease the plant out of the shock experienced in transit. Since the plant arrived during a cold spell in September, and I live in the east coast, I decided to grow the plant as a houseplant until spring. The leaves of my plant however became increasingly pale over time, despite all my efforts to nurture it, until I got the balance of adequate warmth and light right for the plant (10 hours of a combination of sunlight and grow light). My plant is now a healthy specimen, growing new shoots and large green leaves. I actually harvested a few leaves yesterday to blend with my smoothie. I am so happy that I purchased this plant, and look forward to it becoming beautiful tree.

I received 2 plants. One had no leaves, and the other had just a few, and they did not look good, but the roots looked strong and good on both plants. I followed the instructions, that came with the plants, and now, a month later, they are both doing very well. Fast growing, and I am looking forward to my first harvest in the spring. Update: I have doubt about them being the real deal after comparing them with my relatives' plants. They don't taste the same either. Waste of money.

UPDATE: The plant has started growing new leaves and it looks really good! I feel hopeful. I'll keep it indoors until spring. Updated to 4 stars. Original: I didn't receive any instructions on how to best care for this. Mine came with a few leaves, some fell off. I planted it indoors. Hopefully this works.

Updated Review: When I received the plant, it looked a hot mess. I left a review stating that. See below. I reported the plant, added chicken manure to the soil and it grew healthy and strong. See the updated photo. It’s safe to buy from this seller. He’s not much help when you reach out to him but, his plants will grow. Give it time and good fertilizer. My first review was a 1 star. I’ve moved it to a 5 star based on the plant only. Not the Customer Service. (Origional review) I ordered a plant and received a cutting with two withered leaves. The cutting was well packaged and well watered. The issue is I expected to receive a full plant as advertised. I didn’t. Look at the reviews of others and their photos…

This was well packaged. Once potted, it continued to grow.

I was so happy when I received the plant. Sadly, the leaves are turning yellow and slowly falling off. Doesn't look healthy anymore. I just planted for 4 days. When it arrived I noticed the leaves are yellow and I thought it was normal.. but I don't think this plant will survive :(
