whats the problem with friskes cat food?

The manager of the supermarket that I use frequently told me that Friskies and other pet food companies are having great difficulty keeping up with orders. They have employees out sick due to COVID-19 and Norman’s numbers of people have adopted cats and dogs while staying home in observance of government restrictions. Many animal rescue organizations have none for adoption. Many of those organizations use only dry food from any processor. Adopters feed their animals more wet food, especially the less expensive brand like Friskies. Friskies, also depends on meat processors to obtain meat and by-products. Those meat processors have been having problems keeping up with orders. So, Friskies is back ordering their wet food products and also having problems with their distribution centers and shippers who also have employees out sick.

Is this the same as Chewy charges $14 for?

Can't find these on the shelf anymore, so when it is time to buy I compare Amazon and Chewy. Sometimes one is better than the other, sometimes not. Take shipping into consideration, free at Amazon, free at Chewy if you buy enough at one time.

Why in the hell does it take a week to get my order? Do you know what prime members are? It should take more than 4 days!!!!

I am fortunate to live close to a branch warehouse; so, I often get my orders quickly. Sometimes it takes longer as I assume they have to ship from other warehouses. Given the fact that local grocery store shelves are usually empty of wet cat food, I am grateful—and patient!!

When is expiration date?

The expiration dates will change based on what lot you receive. The lot I received in January of 2022 had an expiration date of October of 2023.

Disappointed in how the product was packaged at factory.

I was not happy when I took the package out of the shipping box. There were 4 severely dented cans . The packaging was different this time as well. Usually, it is packaged in a completely different format. Example: 24-count pop can packaging. Other than that, the product was what I ordered, and my cats still love it. I would still recommend this product.
