Can you use any other oils or lubricants on the blade besides gun oil?

Food grade mineral oil. I dont like to use gun oil if I use the knife for food prep.

Inside my sheath is quite "fuzzy." Removing knife from sheath showers suede bits & leaves blade dusty. Any suggestions? Maybe mink oil inside sheath?

Put mink oil inside generously, and start using your knife, -- in one week it will not be fuzzy any more (or speed up it with tea spoon or stick, smoothing this fuzzy surface). It is probably the best leather sheath of this 'drop down' design on market.
