The golden age of steam machines has made a return as we attempt to disinfect our lives. This steam cleaner has a ton of attachments that make it the perfect anti-microbial tool for a deep cleaning: 1. My brother-in-law, bless his heart, always puts olive oil or vegetable oil on everything before he uses my charcoal grill. He ignores my requests and rules about how to use my grill. You see, when oil mixes with ash it creates either viscous black goop that stains everything or it dries into concrete over time. He just left, so I took the steamer outside with the copper wire brush tip and removed a lot of the goop before it hardened. The heat generated by the steam made it very easy to scrub away the black stuff in the charcoal pan. (I now keep the copper wire brush in a zipper bag so that it does not touch anything else.) 2. This is a steamer, not a mop or spin brush. Thus, I have to sweep or vacuum the tiles before I use the steamer. My nieces and nephew also recently left with the oil-grilling dufus. The floor in the dining room beneath where they sat was covered with sticky "stuff." What I thought was ketchup was actually an old, smashed cherry tomato. What I thought was a large phlegm from an errant sneeze seemed to be some sort of melted candy. Pretty much every meal something seemed to have made its way to the tile and then been smashed by their feet under the table. I swept. I vacuumed. Then, I broke out the steamer! It comes with two pads that can be thrown in the washing machine. I used both on the tiles that were under the table. Then I did a load of laundry. Then I used them again. No more grease shine, no more sticky debris, no more stains. Steam is so awesome! (In the next step you will discover that I did not read enough of the manual for this step.) 3. While cleaning the tiles, I found that the grout between the tiles was discolored compared to the grout around the outside of the table. I started with just the bent nozzle connected directly to the main unit. My back complained, so I added the long nozzle. Still too much bending over. I thought the steam power would fade with a longer handle, but I went ahead and added the three extension pieces. Then I put the bent nozzle at the end of those and it was still going strong. Just to be fair, the steam did not restore the tile on its own. After using the steamer, I went back over the floor with the carpet glider (yes, I used the carpet steamer on the tile floor in example #2 above) and that wiped away the color more than just the steam. 4. I also used the steamer in the bathroom. The glass walls of the shower were a mess after the family left. Plus, we have hard water. I had already sprayed foaming cleaner and let it sit right after they left. A couple of days later I decided to try the steamer. There is a squeegee part (aka "flat surface tool"), a steamer connection that clearly snaps into the squeegee, and a soft cloth that easily goes over the steamer connection. Again, I go for intuition over instructions. I steamed the shower glass and rubbed it with the soft cloth. Then I scraped the glass with the squeegee. Not sure if that was the right thing to do, but it worked. I think I would have liked to receive a few more of the cloth covers in the box because it got dirty pretty quick. It took me three separate attempts to get the whole glass cleaned (with two loads of towels in between to wash the soft cloth. 5. There is a scouring brush head for the steamer. I have used that one the most. I use it on the kitchen counters after we make a messy meal. It is particularly useful to help clean up the spattered grease around the stove top after bacon or other spattering foods have been cooked. Steam is a great grease fighter! 6. I should also mention how my wife has been using the steamer. We store it in the laundry room. I have seen her using it on several occasions to steam a blouse or dress before she wears it. She has to use the fabric steamer part without the garment cloth because I used the cloth on the glass in the shower. Apparently, I was supposed to use the fuzzy cloth cover for the shower... Oh well. There are several other accessories that we have not yet used. We have had this for a couple of months and it has been used quite a few times. I think I will need to go back to the instructions to see what else we can use it for (and just maybe - how to use it properly). I am confident that most families will find this extremely useful! Let's kill the germs!

These ScrubWiz replacement mop pads are almost identical to the ones included with my ScrubWiz Steamer. They work just as well and although I keep a rather clean house, you can see the used pad on the attachment still managed to pick up unseen grime from the floor. Having multiple replacement pads allows me to go from room to room, replacing the pad for a clean start each time. The adhesion of the pads to my scrubber is very stong. The pads do not budge or fall off when using the scrubber. The pads are gentle on the floor but effective. I have hardwood, bamboo and vinyl flooring. I experienced no issues while using the pads on those different surfaces. The pads wash up well. I just give them a good rinse in hot water and then throw them in the washer with towels.

It works fantastic! Steams just the right amount of! Very tall handle , I’m 5’11” tall so this don’t hurt my lower back because it’s the right height for me. The only thing is the reservoir is small and there’s nowhere to tie up the cord on the machine. Other than that, it’s a thumbs up for me. I don’t think it’s as flimsy as people say. It is on other reviews. Nothing’s perfect, but I pushed it pretty hard and the tubes didn’t buckle or bend it all. And the only reason why I’m giving it a four is because there’s nowhere to put the cord.
