I would recommend it to everyone who want to put baby on bottle feed. I would say baby will love it.

These were my favorite bottles! It was also a favorite of my breastfed baby. It was the only bottle that we found that he could use easily and didn't create nipple confusion when going back and forth from breast to bottle. I've recommended them to all expecting mommas!

I stumbled across this bottle on YouTube while in search for a bottle closest to breast. This bottle saved my breastfeeding journey that came so close to an end. When I had my daughter at the hospital I had no issues with her latching on. Once we were home she didn’t latch on correctly and left me with bleeding cracked nipples. Her latch continued to be shallow and all she would leave me with is a milk let down, and engorgement. So I knew I had to exclusively pump and bottle feed. I started off with the bottles I had which were BIBS and Avent natural flow. She took the bottles well but was always fussy with gas and at times I’d try to introduce the breast back to her and she was refusing. So I then bought the Munchkin nipple shield and she took the breast fine to latch but would not stay on long enough. So I decided I needed to find a bottle that would prevent gas and was closest to the breast in case she would not be able to tell the difference. It took her one day to get use to the pigeon bottle. Took her way longer to finish the bottle because of the slow flow which was a good thing. No bottle leakage, no throwing up. Noticed her poops were 1-2 times a day vs me having to use the windi pipe before. She was less fussy and sleeping more, happy during the time she was awake. I had her on the bottle straight for a week during the day. I started to give her the breast at night while she was heavily asleep but still hungry and she took the breast with no issues. Then I started to continue it into the morning feeds and she took my breast with no issues. And I continued during the day and no issues. And now we are back to fully breastfeeding and only bottle feeding if I’m away from her. But pigeon will continue to be the bottle I give her because it truly is the next thing to the breast and when I tell you I cried so many days because I wanted to give up breastfeeding throw in the towel because of the pain I was always in and always having a fussy baby is no joke. But I did not want to give up breastfeeding because of the bond it gave me with my other children. This is truly the best bottle for colic, gas, and breastfed babies!

Been using these M-F for about a month while baby is in daycare; he is otherwise breastfed on weekends and at night after daycare. We haven’t had any issues with them at home - baby takes them, no leaking, easy to clean, easy to heat up in our bottle warmer. Daycare initially thought the flow was too slow (S nipple) and causing our kiddo to not want to drink. I bumped it up to the M nipple and he was still inconsistent. I reminded them about the valve to minimize issues with gas; also read if you don’t ensure the valve is open and facing up that it can affect the flow rate. He’s been doing better since. (They also changed how he was positioned and arms covered, so not sure if that was more so the issue.) We bought these after buying the wide, glass Evenflo. Our baby didn’t like the Evenflo nipples - didn't seem to be able to latch well on those. It also turns out that our daycare doesn’t accept glass bottles. The fact that these are graded to withstand more use and heat gave me a little more peace of mind considering they’re plastic. Yes, they’re pricier, but so far, they seem well worth it. We’ll probably buy the 8oz bottles in a couple months.

Nipple softness and SS flow is actually extra slow like what I needed—comparable to Dr Browns Preemie flow nipples. Great for breastfed babies as the nipple has a skin like suppleness to it and gets a deeper latch than some other nipples. Simple and effective venting design, makes it easy to assemble and clean the bottles. The one design flaw I’ve noted is the the way the collar and bottle are shaped at the top makes it hard for the last 5-10ml of milk to get down to the nipple without having to tip the bottle completely upside down—which is not what you do when pace-feeding. Minor annoyance though that I will deal with.
