The McFarlane Wonder Woman figure (the first of its kind from the '1984' movie) does not come with a shield and a sword - only the golden lasso. I am not sure which review you are referring to. I had attached a few photos of two McFarlane Wonder Woman figures to a review I did on the armored Wonder Woman. In the photos, I placed the two McFarlane Wonder Woman figures with figures produced by Mattel and DC Direct. These other figures had a shield and sword. These are old figures and no longer available at retail. Amazon might have them. McFarlane produced another 2 Wonder Woman figures recently which have different costumes. I can't recall if these come with a sword and shield. You can view them on the Amazon website. These are on sale in stores. Don't seem to be selling well. **Q: How long would this last if used as a toy? My kid is only 6, but ... this is so cool.** A: McFarlane Toys are not really toys – they are better suited for display in showcases than as playthings. I can’t say specifically how long the Wonder Woman figure will last as a plaything since I collect action figures for display only, which includes over 70 made by McFarlane Toys since 1995. There is a high probability that the wings will fall off, and will keep falling off, when treated as a toy. The limbs might also break if the figure is roughtly handled. I mentioned a problem with the wings in the recent review I did on this Wonder Woman 1984 figure. The main components arre durable but the joints and some accessories are fragile. I had limbs and accessories falling of a few McFarlane figures over the years even though I did not play with them. Just 3 months ago, I glued back a leg that fell off a ‘Sea Creature’ that I bought from McFarlane Toys some 16-18 years ago. The leg broke off shortly after purchase. I would advise that McFarlane action figures be treated as display collectibles – very cool, nicely crafted, realistic and nice to look at - there’s even beauty in the most hideous subjects such as the alien monster from The Thing movie, the Heap monster, the Frankenstein monster, etc. The McFarlane figures that can be played with are the Fortnite characters. Wonder Woman action figures have been made by Kenner. DC Direct, Mattel and recently by McFarlane Toys. Few of these Wonder Woman action figures are actually toys. The old Kenner figure and the Mattel figures based on the TV cartoons were the real toys. I have photographs of my Wonder Woman figures made by different manufacturers in my review of the Wonder Woman 1984 figure. **Q: I did not get base** A: The action figure are great **Q: how tall?** A: The figure is 7 inches tall. I am not able to attach a photograph but you may refer to my review of the armored Wonder Woman (1984) in the Amazon product review. Item inside is Good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by J***Y on 2 June 2020* This movie Wonder Woman is an amazing looking figure. The paint is clean and very good looking. While it's not chrome the glossiness of the red, the texture of the gold and silver are spot on. The flat navy blue on the skirt gives a great constrast to the rest of the more vibrant colours. The figure inself has excellent paint job to translate the costume on screen to a 7" plastic toy. Why the likeliness to Gal Gadot seems to be missing quite a bit, it's not a bad looking head sculpt and compared to what was offered of the first Wonder Woman movie and others versions from Mattel, McFarlane Toys Wonder Woman is miles ahead in terms of quality, design and value. There is one noticeable problem with this figure. And that's Wonder Woman's stretched thighs. Basically her legs are too long. Compared to video clips and stills, her thighs are stretched too long. It's not that noticible when you pose her and being the knees but it's weird that the toy company made such a mistake. Still for the price point and over all quality, it's a noticeable problem but in no ways a deal breaker. Wonder Woman comes with a tied up lasso of truth that can hook on the side of her torso and also a "in action" version. Both can be hold on her hands. The paint on the lassos are perfect, no complains there. However, really wish she came with a pair of closed fist for her bracelet action poses. She also comes with a collector card which personal I enjoy as a little bonus for collecting the DC Multiverse figures. And a small stand which helps with dynamic poses as you can see in the photo.
