I have sciatic problems and have had several spinal fusions. This is the second of these cushions I have purchased, one gets transferred often from my transport chair in the dining room to the recliner in the living room. I purchased a second one for the recliner in my bedroom, and that one will also go with me on Sunday mornings for church. I have tried a variety of memory foam cushions, etc., but this is the first that actually does the job of relieving pressure. A church member is the one who recommended this, and I am so glad I listened.

It is a seat for preventing pressure sores on prolonged sitting. It is soft and comfortable. I am using it for my mother who is 91 years old and she has no complaints. Only thing is the demanding price.

This made a huge difference to my ability to sit in a desk chair when I had ongoing hamstring tendonitis and couldn’t sit down. It still hurt but the difference was not being able to sit down at all compared to sitting down for a few hours with less pain.

You cannot use a pump to inflate this cushion, and the valve sticks unless pressed deep into cushion, which makes it hard to reinflate. THat said, it is comfortable and the price is right. Great if you have occasional need for cushion, or you are able and willing to inflate it for yourself and don't need a stranger to do so and get their saliva on it.
