Are the tablets scored so it can be easily cut in half?

No, they are not scored, but after research I found a way to swallow the things. It's counterintuitive, but if you put the pill in your mouth with a sip of water, bend your neck so that your chin is toward your chest and swallow and sip more water, it slides down without sticking or pain. I had about given up when I found this technique and can attest to the fact that it works. The pills work well, so I didn't want to give up. I hope this works for you.

How big are the tablets? Bigger than Solgar's multivitamins?

They're big enough to have moons orbiting around them! OK, not that big maybe, and they work for me, so I don't have a problem with it.
