DANGER CLOSE: The Rescue of ODA-525 Paperback – December 21, 2016

It was great to finally see a book honoring the men and mission that was the rescue of the Special Forces A Team, ODA 525. First hand accounts from the men who were actually there on the ground fighting and from the guys on the rescue force trying to get them out. Enjoyed the book very much. As for any typos from Amazon's printing, did not see any and for me it would not distract me from the story.

Exciting story and format kept me turning the pages.

The book I received is a miss-print which means many more probably are. Essentially, page one is at the back of the book, page two is found by flipping page one to the right. Page three is to left of page two, Page four is found by flipping the page to the right. And on-and-one.

Exceptional teamwork at any level is impressive. Exceptional teamwork under literal life and death situations is amazing! This book recounts the amazing events of a rescue where the outcome would have been horrendous if not for the bravery, cool headedness and most importantly, trust between special operators, helo crews and fighter pilots. The fighter pilots never even saw the men they were defending until it was all over. All Americans can take pride knowing these men were "out there" protecting America. Great book!
