Plug and play. Awesome output even on fence that's old and likely has a lot of resistance. Keeps the sassy pony and his taller friends in no problem as well as keeping the overzealous dog out as well. Sits right on top of a T-post in a pre-fabricated slot in the bottom for easy attachment. Not nails, no intense installation. Plus the T-post is a handy, instant ground rod to boot. So the convenience is great. The auto/night feature is awesome too. Very happy with this set up so far. Have used since spring (about 4 months) and am satisfied enough to where I ordered another one.

I have 2 of the 3’ by 164’ livestock netting panels attached to this charger at the moment. The netting uses a ton of electricity to stay strong, especially if any of the wires tear, which though I perform regular maintenance, regularly rotating portions of the fence through my thorn/bramble filled goat pasture means there are always wires to repair/replace. With a goat who relishes head butting his way through any kind of barrier, I really needed the fence to have a decent charge. Happy to say, the goat has not broken through the fence a single time when it was turned on. He does check it sometimes, seems to get a static electricity type zap if his nose is within an inch of the fence, and both he and I, likely his herd mates have gotten zapped full force, and it’s not nothing. A farmer friend brought out her voltometer at one point, was impressed. I do not use this during the winter, as the snow takes down the electric netting, but I’ve probably put a full year of use on this charger so far, simply storing it in the shed with the fencing for winter months. It’s been reliably powerful even when it rains for a week straight and there’s little to no sun. Very happy with this purchase.

Last summer the deer ate nearly everything in our garden. This summer we upgraded - the deer got NOTHING! It's easy to install, charges great, the batter life is superb, and the price is so much better than one with a separate solar panel. I have recommended this product to several friends who have purchased one. From experience I can tell you the shock is enough to ensure you don't want to touch the wire a second time.

I have had in operation for 1 month now and no deer in the fruit orchard!

Currently using this fence charger on my main pasture. It’s keeping cattle, equine, and sheep just fine, all on high tensile hot wires. I absolutely love it so far, and leave it on auto mode 24/7. It’s also kissed me a few times on accident, and it’s HOT enough to not wanna do it again.
