Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergent, Free of Perfume & Dyes, Powder, 100 Loads, 6.16 lb

I went back to A&H trying to reduce our carbon footprint. I can only find the non fragrance soap on line. The soap works well and no plastic lining. I do the lowest carbon delivery hoping I'm making the right decisions. I've ordered it several times, I was so surprised and happy to see they didn't deliver the boxed soap in a box! this time!

My skin was itchy all the time so I switched to this and my skin feels much better. The powdered version is a much better deal than the liquid and it doesn't leave a "slimy" feel to my clothes. Happy I switched, 1 box goes a long way.

Many people prefer powder laundry detergent to liquid because it just cleans better. Out of all of the free and clear laundry detergent options, this is the best in my opinion. I have noticed an increase in price. Just a few months ago you could get this for under $14, but now it is fluctuating anywhere between $26-$40. I was concerned that it would be discontinued, but I called Arm & Hammer and thankfully there are no reports of it being discontinued. Not sure why the sudden price increase, but I truly hope that Amazon offers this at the reasonable price it once did. To Arm & Hammer: please never discontinue this product. It is so helpful to many who need to have a free and clear option due to allergies/sensitivites to fragrances, and there are not very many free and clear POWDERED laundry detergent options that work well. Keep selling this five star product, thank you!

I bought this for the sole reason of adding my own fragrance oils and creating a heavily scented laundry soap. This detergent showed up on many searches as being able to add fragrance. I could not believe how fragrance free my laundry came out, even after adding a lot of oil. I had added 4 ounces of oil to 1 pound of the powder. It barely had a hint of the scent after washing. All other commercial scented laundry detergent has a stronger smell after washing than did. I had used a couple different brands of oil thinking that maybe one was better than the other. Still no dice. I’m on the hunt for another powder that actually works. As where it being a regular laundry detergent, I think it works pretty good. It seems to have cleaned. It seems to have rinsed off of the clothes very nicely. So if you are looking for a fragrance free powder detergent, this is a darn good value. It does take a lot more for load than other more concentrated fragrance free product products. This may be where it is not as good of a value compared to other powders that require a lot less. Just be aware of that when you are price comparing.
