I bought the Polyaspartic Garage Floor Kit from ArnorPoxy, which came with two gallons of base coat and two gallons of top coat. Even though the description claimed it would cover up to 500 sqft, the two gallons of base coat couldn’t even cover my 18x20 ft garage floor. I had to use an extra gallon of the top coat just to finish the base layer. The flakes they provided also weren’t enough to fully cover my garage. When I tried to reach out to their customer support over the phone, the agent kept coming up with excuses to blame me for the problem, saying things like “grinding the floor made you use more epoxy” (which is ridiculous). Eventually, he said the company’s phone line was having issues and that he’d call me back later—though I could hear him perfectly fine. It felt like he was just trying to dodge responsibility. This company is a scam. They charge more than other brands, the product quality is terrible, the description is misleading, and they refuse to stand behind their product. Please avoid this at all costs. After spending $1,000 on their kit, I now have to pay even more to fix the mess.

Dries really fast so you have to work quickly. 2 man job. I got the 500 sq foot kit for my 440 sq foot garage and did not have enough of the base coat. Plenty of flakes and top coat. Looks good.

Our garage remodel turned out great. The instruction are clear and direct removing any guesswork. The kit came with almost everything we needed. Square footage is true to size quoted. We heavily covered 800 sq ft with a 900 sq ft kit and had a small amount of product remaining. It went down easily, looks professionally done at a fraction of the cost. I’m satisfied and glad we went with this option

Overall, the product kit works well and I like the finished product well enough. A few observations: - Even at 50 degrees Fahrenheit, I was only able to work with the mixed compound for about 15 minutes before it was too stiff to further manipulate. Two people are required to work cleanly and efficiently. - It cures very quickly. Somehow I managed to drip some into both shoes and I had a heck of a time separating my socks from my skin :-) - The supplied Spiked Shoes are super cheap and as you're walking on the curing polyaspartic compound, the bolts securing the spikes to the shoes will get pulled out. They come with a little wrench for assembly, use full size wrench instead of this tiny wrench and tighten them significantly. - The roller frame is also cheap and should be overtightened to keep it from loosening during product application. Monitor the roller frame as you're applying the compound and be prepared to re-tighten the thumb screws that hold the roller pad in place. If it starts to loosen, the roller pad will soon fall off. - The "Medium Gray" flake choice is very blue. It consists of black, white and light blue flakes. It's *much* bluer than the product images suggest. We ended up only using about 20% of the flakes because there is so much blue in it.

I did alot of reviewing of various types of epoxy, and finally settled on armorpoxy. It arrived earlier that expected. Package up neatly. Few dislikes. The tint package said 1 pint- it was 3/4 of a pint- good thing i measured into separate measuring cups. The lighter color as a result of this was no big deal- as i intended on full coverage of chips. This was a two car garage package upto 500sqft. My garage is barely 420, and if say this barely covered. I did prep by renting and grinding the surface. I attribute the limit of coverage due to this fact. The top coat also seems to go on thinner than i was expecting . I attribute this to a full coverage of chips i used (i ordered 40lbs- maybe 35lb stuck.) - as opposed to 6 lbs in the package. I have ordered another clear coat polyaspheric from magic resin to add on top - could not find a separate clearcoat option from armorpoxy. Initial installation, i was panicking for about 2 mins- the squeegee does not spread out the color and it looked clear. But when rolled the color popped. This does dry extremely fast and hard. So dividing in half batches is a must. Which is my last comment.. if the manufacturer knows this and is their no. 1 recommendation, why not have it package up in this manner 1/2 gals part a and b.
