Excellent product
So happy to have found a viable alternative to single use plastic storage bags. The initial outlay is expensive but I fully expect ROI within a couple of years and that these sturdy silicone bags will last a lot longer than that. More importantly, every step I can take to minimise single use plastics is a real bonus for me. Do NOT put them to heat up in the microwave without leaving a small gap for air to escape; I did this and the result was not pretty. Clearly I did not pay enough attention in physics class. They are really versatile though, you can freeze and heat stuff in them (MW, oven, in a pan of boiling water) , and they are easy to clean. Definitely will be buying some more when I can afford it.

Reusuable Silcone food bags
These are brilliant and well worth the money, bought some reusable sandwich bags in the past before but they weren't really good for much and very difficult to open. These are nice and sturdy, and are really good when you don't want to lug a lunch box around with you. Also amazing for saving plastic waste and money, good alternative for disposable sandwich bags. They seal up well and wash out nicely. No complaints other than was all the plastic they were wrapped in for delivery necessary?

Very solid and useful
These are great for storing food in the fridge. They take up less space than boxes and are completely leak proof. It takes a bit more effort opening them as compared to some boxes because the seal is quite tight but the trade off is a great seal and it's not that bad. I don't use them in the kids lunch boxes for that reason though because they won't put in the extra smidgen of effort, but I love them for cut up veggies or soup or anything in the fridge. I can pile them in the produce drawer and they're much more space efficient and not plastic. Easy to wash.

Work - although didnt expect a seperate seal for the top
I bought these to try reduce my use of zip lock bags, they work well, seal well and wash well and very strong , my only thing is that I wish the top was press closed like a ziplock bag instead of a serperate slider on the top

Excellent way to save money by cooking in bulk
Really great way to store food. I cook much more vegan food at home now and I can save time and money by cooking up large batches and storing them in these meal sized bags. The bags are easy to clean and usually just need a rince. Or simply turn them inside out if you have had something oily inside. Turning them inside out is an effective way to dry them too. They keep food fresh in the fridge, without letting the smell escape. The bags are excellent for freezing food too and even when frozen the food comes out of the bags easily.

Nice little bags, they do the job nicely
There were so many reusable bags to choose from, so after reading some reviews I thought I'd give these a go. It was worth reading as lots of people had commented that the top closure strips are not heat resistant, but they do seem to have survived the dishwasher, as have the bags of course. We turned them inside out before washing and have cleaned up nicely. So far we've only used them to freeze meat, as we buy in bigger packs and then portion off before freezing, two large chicken breasts seem to fit well, and I'm sure I could probably squeeze a third in there. The tops are stiff to open, but all you need to do is give them a good tug, but I'd prefer that to them popping open. Though maybe not great if you struggle with your hands

Difficult to use and wash
I purchased these food bags hoping to go for a more sustainable solution and stop using plastic. They seemed practical, but unfortunately I cannot recommend to buy them. The idea itself it's nice, but because of their shape they are incredibly difficult to manage. I often have to ask for help when filling them or emptying them, because they will bend very easily and spill the content (they do not stand by themselves, so you need an extra pair of hands). They are also difficult to wash, even when putting them into the dish washer they won't stay open so I'm never sure they've been properly cleaned. And last think the material absorbs the smell of the food, even after washing them you can still smell what was inside. I suppose that's why they're providing bags of different colors according to the content. If they improved the design they could be very useful items, but like this it's a big NO! Sorry.

Alternative to plastic food bags
I bought these to try and reduce the amount of plastic I use. They are definitely durable and do the job. The slider at the top is a bit tough to get on and off, particularly for a child. They are also much more bulky than a traditional sandwich bag but then again, I guess that is what makes them durable! They are hard to dry as they won't drain easily. You either have to stick them over the top of a bottle or similar or dry them by hand. Overall I am pleased with my purchase but I do wonder whether there is anything better out there.
