Package Included: 1 x Pair Hiking Boot Review: I DONT REGRET BUYING THESE SHOES! Very sturdy and Comfortable - I do not regret buying these shoes. I’ve categorized my review in terms of different factors: 1. SIZE: I normally wear a US size 7 1/2 but I purchased the US size 8 instead and the fit is very comfortable. I’d advise anyone purchasing this shoe to buy half size up if you want toe wiggle room. One thing to note: the shoe comes with very thick soles- if you remove them you’ll get more space in the shoe in case it comes too tight- bear in mind this may compromise the comfort. You do not want a shoes like this too form fitting or else your feet will hurt after walking for some time. With that said- It is true to the size chart. (I measured the length of my foot and used the size chart recommended size then I purchased half size up) so According to the chart I’m a size 7 1/2 but I bought size 8. 2. STYLE: the Xpeti women’s mid rise hiking boots are very striking. I’ve received many compliments and I love the fact that I can lace up the shoe all the way up. The shoe design provides great grip at the bottom so you won’t slip in mud or on steep slopes ( I hike a lot for my job so I have first hand experience with the shoe on steep slopes) 3. DURABILITY and QUALITY: the shoe is of great quality and the build is very strong. It really is waterproof and that’s great. All and all a great purchase. Con: may be slippery on wet smooth rocks Review: Still great 8 months later… now into year 3 - Still rocking these for long hikes. I love the toe support, I would also suggest a half size or size up to ensure you have room but I can’t stub my toes in these! They traverse rocky terrain well! I feel like I can walk on anything in them. No holes! Yet! Update 02/04/24 They still kick ass and are still waterproof! 04/03/24 They’re still great. Moderate use, every other other weekend or so. 04/21/26 They’re still good. I still love them. I stepped full into creek water and was so worried about them not drying well - they’ve survived, dried well, somehow managed to prevent them from being stinky - I will say I am finally noticing some wear and tear in the lower surrounding area of the boots, like they bend with my feet and then the lower rubberish ring is starting to look like it’s going to break off, but it still hasn’t. I can’t believe it. I still want a new pair but this one pair has been through so much and is still perfectly wearable, comfortable, and amazing for how much I shove my feet into rocks and the ground, they keep your feet so protected it’s ridiculous. I almost had some blistering once but that’s more about socks than the boots. 3 years, Hiking Boots still as

just what I wanted
I wore these for the first time on a 4 mile hike. No blisters and my feet weren't sore. Good traction on rocks, though I haven't tried them on wet rock yet. I try to avoid mud and puddles when I hike so I can't comment on the water proof claims. They're light weight so they didn't make it harder going up the inclines! I agree with other comments about the sizing. I normally wear a size 8 and ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfectly. Ankle support was a big deal for me since I've already broken my ankle once. I wore a basic plastic support brace with these boots and I didn't worry about it--nice and sturdy! Other boots and the brace didn't make me feel confident I wouldn't end up breaking it again. My one negative-ish comment is that they're not comfortable for me if I'm just sitting in the car with them on. I know it's silly since I certainly didn't get them for sitting in a car! Hubby said to get a big name brand but sometimes we ladies know better than men! I'm glad I didn't spend all the extra money and trusted these reviews and my gut.

Feel great, look great, fit just right
UPDATE: I'm back from my trip to Iceland and updating the review. These shows are warm, sturdy and waterproof (unless you accidentally fall into a glacial lake and submerge them from the top down like I did haha but that was entirely my fault. They seem to be drying well from the accident!). The only reason why I'm giving these 4/5 stars is because they created pressure points on the left side (outside) of my calf on both legs after a few days of wearing them. So if you're going to be hiking for a week or so, bring another pair of shoes to swap between because these shoes are very stiff and might create pressure points. That's the only downside to these, otherwise they're awesome and I'm glad I bought these. I ordered these for my upcoming trip to Iceland so I will update my review post trip, but so far I love them and I think they will be perfect. They fit very well and provide comfortable arch and ankle support. They also seem to be quality construction and materiel. I was unsure of what size it order based on the mixed sizing reviews and I did the "sizing guide" that comes with the product and after filling out the questions it told me to order a size 8.5 so that's what I did and they fit! I usually wear a size 8 and sometimes an 8.5 depending on the shoe. I tried them on with thin socks, medium thick socks, regular thick socks, and extra thick insulated wool socks (the super heavy ones for snowboarding) and they fit with all of them!! They're almmoosstt too snug with the extra thick insulated socks, but they still fit and I don't expect it to be a problem. In the photos I'm wearing regular thick socks. Bonus: these are pretty cute as far as hiking and outdoor shoes go for women!

Love these boots!!
I love these boots, this is my 3rd pair. These boots are very comfortable and warm and look great. They run small so size up. I would highly recommend buying these boots. I will be buying the Grey one as well.

Nice Boots!
I first ordered a 9.5 but my toes were at the very end of the shoe. I wear a 9 in most shoes but have a narrow boot so I expected the medium width to be a little loose, the width on the 9 was snug but when I reordered a 10, the fit was nearly perfect. Just right at the toes, the arch support was good which is unusual for me because I have a high arch. The boots feel great and give me good ankle support as well. This is my First initial reaction just out of the box and wearing for first time. I’m planning a short 5’ hike down a canyon and 5’ miles back to try them out. There’s a cold pond at the bottom of the canyon that is fed by an underground water source and water fall so I will slip in my leather led like shoes for jumping in to cool off since it’s around 5pm deep but ever so refreshing. I’d go barefoot if it were not for the semi sharp rocks at the bottom of the pond. We usually do that hike to warm us up to longer treks. We pack a lite lunch with ice water and dry off on the very nice smooth rocks there. I can’t wait to try these new hiking boots out. Right now, they are comfortable. The other pair I had started a return on but if my daughter-in-law likes them, I will give them to her for our family hiking trips. These are well made, the traction control soles are so far, well designed. I’m anxious to see if they hold up hiking through rocks down somewhat steep trails. I’m sure they will.

Shoes peel prior to using
I went to go for a hike and was stretching when I noticed the top part of the shoe was cracking and peeling off. Did not want to hike after that because I will not risk the shoe not doing its job if it’s already doing poorly.

Amazing
I am not really a hiker but my best friend and I just went to Argentina and decided to go to Patagonia to hike a glacier. It sounded so magical that we couldn't pass it up but, truth be told, I was nervous because I had to buy everything I needed for the hike which cut into my travel budget. After looking around at several sporting websites and seeing that all the hiking boots were well over $100 I decided to look on Amazon and because of the reviews decided to try these boots. I am between a 5 1/2 and the six so I started with a 6 1/2 which were definitely too small. I exhanged them for a size 7 and the first time I put them on I thought I was having a past life memory of the mafia fitting me with cement shoes. Omg, they felt so hard and heavy! I was thinking I would need to return them and go ahead and splurge on and expensive pair but decided to wait until I went to the REI garage sale that my friend told me about (if you are not familiar with that it might be worth looking up). The day of the garage sale I brought my boots to the store because I heard they had a rock wall you could climb on to see how your shoes fit. It's more of a hump than a wall but it was very helpful and a couple people at the store commented on what great boots I had. For some reason, they felt more comfortable so I decided just to keep them. I got a pair of silk socks to wear underneath my hiking socks because my friend said that was supposed to help prevent blisters. I did not wear them for more than a few minutes prior to going on my hikes in Argentina, one was on a glacier where I had to wear crampons and the other was a rocky trail. These boots were amazing! I wore them for the entire day, both hiking and afterwards when we went into town to get a bite to eat. Not only did I not get blisters but I felt very safe and secure on both hikes. Obviously, the glacier was damp and there were times when we walked through puddles. My feet were not submerged underwater per se but they definitely got wet. Well, I should say my shoes got wet and my feet stayed dry ;). The other hike had some precarious rocks and dirt and I felt like I had a secure grip on the ground as well as having my ankles protected from anything that made me a little wobbly. As far as hiking boots go (I'm more of a Louboutin girl) I would consider these to be attractive. I am amazed they are so inexpensive and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. The souls were still a little hard so it might be worth taking them to a shoemaker to have some sort of cushion/gel insole put in but, despite that, I still found them to be very comfortable. A great investment that saved enough space in my budget for a fantastic dinner ;)
