Was apprehensive at first. Bought one. Filled it to top line (20ml) with included measuring cup and lit it. Got warm extremely quickly. Stayed warm for over 20 hours. Had to keep in the travel pouch because the heat was too warm for continuous skin contact. Second time filled with half as much fluid, stayed warm for about 10 hours. Great heat. Compact. Easy to use and reuse which was extremely important. Just let the fuel burn itself up and put it away for next time. No more using second rate disposable warmers or even worse, the ones you have to boil in water to be able to use again.Ended up buying a second. Great for fishing, camping, construction etc. If you are on the fence just pull the trigger. Hope this helps.Edit. Went to use it again this year after being stored in a warm, dry area. Platinum catalyst burner won't ignite. Would be nice to know which replacement burner to buy since UST does not offer them.

Great product! I am consistently getting 18-20 hours of burn time and the heat is Hot! The case is very pleasing to hold and to look at and the top fits snugly into place and does not loosen or jiggle at all, unlike the zippo which I also bought at the same time.

I bought two, the wicking part you light will not stay lit regardless of your full. Doesn’t function at all. I also have two peacocks that work amazingly well, get the peacocks.

i bought this back in nov when it was getting cold, and had to toss it in a box when it broke quick. it's definitely super disappointing. we've got 7 handwarmers at work (no heat, middle of winter, you know) and i wanted my own to take home but all of them, ALL of them, including the oldschool burning charcoal stick ones, are better and more durable than this poor sucker. it doesn't get very warm, no matter where i put it or how long i make it burn. i can hold it bare in my hands if i want, which is NOT what i want from a handwarmer. if the undercap which was poorly made in the first place and now just...doesnt secure at all (making the warmer unusable) hadnt missed the ball, i would have had to either replace the disintegrating insulation or buy a better warmer. anyone wanting to use this for camping anywhere colder than arizona nights will be chilly in their sleeping bag

This is a stand out when compared to the other brands like Zippo, Peacock, or any other hand warmer. It is just built really sturdy and it works great too. I have scores of hand-warmers and this one is the best-made one I own.

Nice camping item for a man-I did not realize it requires lighting fuel-larger in real life and the finish is more of a darker brushed gold.
