The Alpine Corporation 80" Long Indoor/Outdoor Wood River Log Fountain is a really good value and great looking fountain!We were looking for a fountain for our cats that only like drinking from running water. Therefore, we needed something that was low enough to the ground, was attractive looking and functional for what we needed. We found a fountain at one of our local nurseries that fit the bill, but they wanted $1800! Since that was a little pricey for a cat fountain, I looked around and found the exact same fountain on Amazon for significantly less.The fountain arrived quickly (1 week ground shipping). The packaging was outstanding, and all parts were intact. There was only one minor flaw (broken piece see image) which didn’t impact the fountain nor was it too visible. This flaw was not due to shipping and must have happened in production. The provided assembly instructions were minimalistic and someone without skills might have some challenges to assemble the unit, particularly the pump and the water supply line as the fountain comes in two pieces and the water line kinks easily from the second unit vs. where it attached to the pump. One needs to play around with the pump orientation and feeding the tube back in to the second compartment to eliminate the kink. The fountain worked flawlessly right from the start with no issues. The fountain pump is super quiet and non-audible at max flow rate.I added some additional features to serve my needs by adding a ¼ water supply line with auto-shut off valve to keep the water levels continuously at optimal levels without exposing the pump intake. I also added automated timers to the lights (on at dusk off at sunrise) and to the pump (off at night and on in the morning) as no one sees the unit at night.Overall, this is a super value, great looking fountain and most importantly, the cats all love and use it. Highly recommended.

We Absolutely Adore our new "Babbling Brook". It is BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED. I look out in the backyard and I am amazed at the whole new look that this incredible piece of art has given to our yard and so calming to watch the waterfall from the top down to the bottom. The water retention is perfect, the brightness at night is beautiful and the size is magnificent. WE LOVE IT☆☆☆☆☆We took our time as not to damage while setting up. Take it slow and stay methodical, your going love yourself for making this purchase. ♡♡♡♡♡ Whoever designed this did a spectacular job, it looks so real. Especially putting potted plants all around the backside to help it blend in w nature. Yep, I DID REAL GOOD on this purchase.

I own quite a few Alpine water fountains, but this one is by far my new favorite now.I was a bit concerned about the size and handling it alone, but it comes in three pieces (packed on one HUGE box). The top section -- another section the top section sits on, and then the main bottom section that has the water reservoir. It took me less than 15 minutes to set up and about 5 minutes or less to fill.It has a very realistic sound like a small stream in the woods and is very well made. I added an extra LED light in the bottom section as the 3 LEDs it comes with don't light it up enough for my taste.Some reviewers stated that the motor is really loud. As long as you set the pump on the bottom of the reservoir on the rubber feet that are at the bottom of the pump, the pump itself is not very loud. I did hear what I thought was the pump getting loud and I realized it was the sliding door on the side that was causing the humming noise so I put a piece of felt between the door piece and fountain and the hum stopped.For such a fast flowing fountain, splash it extremely low -- hardly any water splashes so I haven't had to add more water in over 3 weeks. I made sure the adjustment knob on the pump is set to full power so I get the full fast flow of the water. If you don't open the flow up all the way on the pump, you're also more likely to get a hum.Best fountain purchase ever!
