I bought these with the intention of being able to slip on a comfortable pair of shoes that would protect my feet from the morning dew when I took the dogs out. So first off- NOT comfortable. No cusion at all. They advertise these as hiking shoes?! No way would you be able to walk 10 minutes never mind up a hill!! Second- NOT waterproof at all! They got soaked and seemed to absorb the water walking across the grass!! I'm not even talking about walking in puddles or rivers or streams... Literally they were squishing water between my toes. I have worn 8 1/2 for the last 30-40 Years. Not knowing the fit of these shoes, I went ahead and Ordered a Size 9, of course thinking that I would have some 'Wiggle Room'. I was wrong. I felt like Cinderella's sisters trying to get my foot into the shoes. Ok, I says, I'll just Order a Larger Size. I attempt to Return the Shoes and I am told that I need to do a Return through a UPS Store. The nearest UPS Store is over 40 Miles away. I get on Chat with Amazon and after several minutes, of Arguing, we finally come to terms of a Credit. So, now I Order a Size 10. Ok, so, I get my foot into the Shoe and while in the Length, I have my 'Wiggle Room', but the tongue is cutting into my Instep. I end up having to take a knife and Cut the sides of the tongue so that it fits better. Edit Update: That Pair was Purchased about 9 months ago. I really liked wearing the shoes, they are very comfortable. I just Received a Second Pair.
