The box fit into my Cobalt which is saying something. That was a consideration since my desertcart goodies are shipped to work. Assembly wasn't difficult. The screws in the stools have to be tightened every so often so hang on to the little wrench that comes with it. πŸ€“ The stools tuck neatly underneath when not in use so it saves a lot of space in my little apartment. Table is counter height which I love. Arrived with no scratches but top does have a little chip. It's not bad but it's there. Not a deal breaker for me. Was missing one washer when it arrived. Was able to easily replace with one from Lowes. Just to give you an idea of the size - I have two standard placemats on top and the overlap in the middle about a inch and a half. Stools seem sturdy and doesn't wobble. I paid $106.99 and I think it was a good price for what I received. Packaging left a little to be desired as it was severely ripped. I don't think that caused the knick in the top though as it was wrapped inside. I would definitely recommend. She bought two of them to line the back of the couch and create a place for people to stand or sit while eating, or working on the computer. It has worked great to create as a casual place to do just that, all without having to sink into the couch for those long Netflix tv binge sessions(my wife is currently sucked into "Private Practice" the "Grays Anatomy" Spin off. The Tables work great for us. The one thing I have against them is that they are best for little people/kids. I bang into the table and jostle everything when I am getting in or out of the table. I have started removing the 2nd chair when I'm sitting at the table, or I just sit or stand to the side of the table. They are well built(because I put it together) but I would recommend using your own tools. the ones that come with the table will add time to the setup and leave you with sore wrists. I think my wife and I built the two tables we got in less then 2 hours...while coddling a 13month old that couldn't take being locked up while mum and dad played Bob the Builder. The instructions for building the tables were not hard, but building it without them left us with a few mistakes that we had to find the instructions in order to correct...so in hindsight, I would recommend following the instructions. Treating these like they are Legos and building them from the picture will add a lot of annoying time to building the tables. The tables look great, and they look like they could be expensive...er then they were. The table is pretty sturdy as I do have children who use it. I occasionally hear the stools squeak due to how the kids sit on the chairs. Some of the legs were very difficult to attach. It seemed that maybe the holes in the chair and table did not line up. Ended up using alot of strength and eventually it worked. An electric drill would definitely be helpful.
