good to cut meat.
This knife is a little bit heavy. Just use the meat cleaver to cut meat. do not use it to cut bones . It works great !

Balance point at the hole
This is a well balanced cleaver that’s ready to provide years of service. Thick slab of steel with a full tang. Well, possibly a weld in there as I see some wiggle to the spine where the handle starts, but that could simply be an artifact from forging. Either way it feels solid and very capable. For the price, this is hard to beat. Might have gotten carried away snapping pics of this gorgeous knife.
