I have owned other running belts in the past, including a SPI belt (which I also liked) and one of those water bottle belts (which I did not like). I have also owned several armbands in the past. In my opinion, this is the best phone holder I've had for running. I am very hippy (literally a 10 inch difference from my hips to my waist) so I usually wear belts just under my chest or around my natural waist instead of lower, because they slide around. If I was just walking and wanted to wear a fanny pack like a huge nerd, I could easily wear this around my hips, but for running, it does tend to slip up so I keep it higher. The elastic is nice; it stretches quite a bit but also holds its staying power (it's not too loose).The plastic shielding over the phone is very thin, so it's easy to navigate touch screens, even with capacitive gloves on. There are two holes for a headphone cord inside the pouch that holds your phone, so it should accommodate many phone models. I have a Galaxy S7 Edge with an Otterbox case, and it fits snugly. It wouldn't fit anything much larger, but it doesn't move at all, which is good. There is a second pouch inside (separated by a thin piece of fabric/plastic) for keys or whatever. You could fit a large keychain in here, but then the belt would not lie flat on your body.It says in the description that you can wear it like a messenger bag. I tried this for a speed run and spent much of the time adjusting it and getting irritated. I wouldn't recommend that approach, at least for females.This belt is wide enough that it does not ever try to flip over or turn sideways. The plastic slider buckles are a little tricky to use if you don't pull on them quite right, but they stay put once they're adjusted.I like it a lot. It's not showing any sign of wear or ripping at the seams like other people have experienced. Maybe they just got crummy ones? I had to look it up on Amazon for the diagrams from when I purchased it. I thought I was missing something. I suppose it was just stuck together. Once I found it I turned it around and slipped in my Galaxy 5s and easily hooked it up to my ear buds.The waist band was easy to adjust and it is thick enough so I never felt like it was hurting my stomach. I put a couple of doggy poop bags inside the other pocket where you can also put keys, mints, chapstick, or eye drops.This is a great phone carrier! I truly enjoyed the ease-of-use as I walked with it for 1 hour listening to a one-hour lecture on YouTube. Never once did my phone need to be turned back on due to any pressure anywhere or my continual walking and a couple of times sitting to relax with my dog for a few minutes. I never had any problems with it pressing any of the buttons inadvertently. It was truly a pleasure to use this! It worked like a dream and I plan on giving it as gifts!This is a great way two encourage yourself to exercise by walking. (A hard balancing act since I'm also carrying my giant water bottle) I didn't want one that attached to my arm as my arms are pretty small and I felt like having my iPhone 6s+ strapped to it would feel awkward/get in the way. So when I was browsing and found this beauty I was so excited! It seemed absolutely perfect and is absolutely perfect. It fits my iPhone perfectly and has another pocket for any keys I need to carry or cards. That part I love because I live in the dorms on campus at UCF and need my student ID in order to get in and out of my dorm as well as the gym and I've currently just been tucking it into my sports bra, which is gross and uncomfortable. Thankfully I no longer have to do that and can even bring my debit card with me incase I feel the need to stop anywhere for food. Love this so much! The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because mine came a little damaged with the grey lining around the plastic part coming off already when I just got it.
