YISSVIC Electric Insect Killer Racket, 4000V High Voltage Mosquito Trap, White

I live in Puerto Rico and noticed a huge increase in fast mosquitoes starting in February. This electric swatter has been a lifesaver for catching them. The 4000V charge is very powerful and the dual-mode feature is great for leaving it on at night to attract them to the light. However, I noticed it doesn't work quite as well for flies. It usually just stuns them rather than killing them instantly like it does with mosquitoes. If you are dealing with a mosquito problem, this is a 5-star tool, but for larger flies, you might need something a bit heavier. Overall, it’s a great piece of gear to have in the house for the "bug season" here!

These were decent for the price. So far I’ve been zapping all sorts of flying insects as small as gnats. I do love the auto function, but even fully powered I don’t think it lasts longer than 6/8 hours if kept on auto throughout the night. They both come with holders and can be charged while sitting in place. Material is easy to clean with soap and water. The sound of zapping bugs is normal IMO, what do you expect? The brightness is actually perfect in complete darkness. I’m eager to see how long they will last. But glad I purchased a decent set for an affordable price.

I purchased these about 2 weeks ago. I have gnats and they really are annoying. These work great for them. They have a stand that is used to charge it up, but also to have it stand upright after charging. This is helpful because you do not have hold it all the time. The first night I charge them. I had one by my plants and it sound was like fire crackers going off. That sound made me smile as I knew it was working. Can’t wait to try them camping. The reason for 4 stars instead of five is that I feel like the charge should last longer.

Not very practical for a real bug problem, inside or out, but I doubt they could be made much better. It is quite satisfying to hear the pop and crackle though, and it feels good to personally get the little buggers back for all of their biting and pestering! Other passive methods are far more effective and less time consuming of course, and the tiny ones will often whiff right through the grates without getting zapped.
