After ordering four pairs of shoes, none of which fit properly and were difficult for a disabled senior to put on I have landed on these. They are wonderful easy to put on and fit perfect excellent shoe for the disabled and for seniors.

The neuropathy and swelling of my feet due to diabetes make a good supporting shoe important. Their size is accurate and fit well. I thought the unusual velcro 'over-tongue' fastening might be just for show, to be different. But it provides extra security and stability, holding the shoe snugly but without pressure on the top of my foot. It's comfortable enough to wear all day. Good construction and nice looking shoe.

I have noticed among the reviews that there was criticism on the snugness of the shoe and the difficulty on opening the velcro straps. This is certainly true initially, however with a bit of use both the straps and the snugness of the shoe cease to be a problem. It might behoove people when they order to get at least one size bigger. While the shoes I ordered were definitely snug initially, I now can slip into them as I would slippers. The velco also was very difficult to open to start with, but it gets easlier with a bit of use. I have not even touched the velcro adjustments in months. As I said they slip on and stay snug once my feet are inside. You just need to find the right initial adjustment. The only complaint I had was the initial issue with the velcro straps and snugness of the shoes to start with. Both issues disappeared with a bit of wear. However, I had already anticipate the size issue and order them a size bigger.

wish it did not have elastic band holding tongue down, for me, i have dropfoot, it makes getting foot in difficult. but good shoe

This shoe cannot be adjusted to confirm to the width of your foot. It stays on while walking, but my feet slide around and my toes bruised. My endocrinologist when seeing me wearing these shoes advised me against them because of others complaints. They are ok for.those who.do not walk.

I don't like the fit. My feet are difficult to find shoes for.

velcro top is bulky

Let's face it, we're all looking for good footwear at good prices and so am l. Not many places make trainers over size12 but Fitville do and they're good at it. Sometimes hard to find at times but I got these and as usual they were perfect. Size13 wide fit. Well made and look cool but most of all.... comfortable. Highly recommended. Cheers!

Die Sohle ist angenehm weich und schmiegt sich sehr gut an. Als Diabetiker kann ich sie mit ruhigen Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
